I am reearching the history of a former Ferrari garage/dealership in Geneva. A friend of mine took this photo of VECTOR W8, chassis 001 on March 13, 1993 at a Geneva luxury car garage, 210 Route de Meyrin: http://ti1ca.com/v77syu9z-W8-001-Geneva-1993b-W8-001-Geneva-1993b.JPG.html The garage was located just adjacent to the Southern end of the Geneva airport runway: http://ti1ca.com/i8yhjzte-Geneva-airport-Route-de-Meyrin-Geneva-airport-Route-de-Meyrin.JPG.html http://ti1ca.com/io53xf8k-Route-de-Meyrin-210-Route-de-Meyrin-210.JPG.html http://ti1ca.com/4ufyjgz0-Route-de-Meyrin-210-aerial-Route-de-Meyrin-210-aerial.JPG.html http://ti1ca.com/pyhvsczy-Route-de-Meyrin-210-aerial-2-Route-de-Meyrin-210-aerial-2.JPG.html Does anyone know the name of this garage? Up to 1992 it used to be a Ferrari garage and dealership. In 1993 it appears to have already changed ownership. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't have one to hand but anyone with a pre-93 Ferrari will be able to check it in their Sales & Service Organisation book which lists dealerships worldwide
No-one stepped up to this simple request yet but I finally found it : AD Autodiffusion SA - tel = 022-782-7100
I can't help much except of the fact that next to it is a gas station where i often filled up the tank.
Great find! Thanks so much. Do you happen to know the year they closed? I would like to find some former staff who may have worked on the VECTOR W8, chassis 001 (see photo above). Getting names of former employees or CEO would help a lot. So it looks that 1981 the shop started as the Ferrari Geneva HQ, then switching around 1992/1993 into Autodiffusion and some time recently into a shoe shop? http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=315345
When you get on bing maps (aerial view) or google maps street view you can see Ghaddafi´s Tamoil gas station.
I am still trying to find former employees of the above Ferrari and exotics garage at Route Meyrin 210 in Geneva who worked at this place during the early 1990´s (1990- 1993). In order to research the history of VECTOR W8, chassis 001 I would like to talk to anyone affiliated with them in those days.
