Stolen 250 GT Lusso #4237 Steve Boone Fact or Fiction ?

    Hi, in the absence of anything more authoritative to hand I have been reading about the 250 GT Lusso on Wiki and found a reference to Steve Boone a member of a band called the Lovin' Spoonfull having a 250 GT/L stolen with a chassis number #4237 (presumably GT).

    Barchetta notes that #4237GT was the first production Lusso but has no further details.

    I have also seen elsewhere on the web Steve Boone is said to have had a very expensive boat stolen while he was in the Bahamas.

    Does anyone know for certain, ie from a non Wiki Interweb source a) Steve Boone owned a 250 GT/L b) if so was the said 250 GT/L subsequently stolen, and c) if so was the chassis number of the stolen car ever ascertained ?

    Some might say 4213 was the the 1st production Lusso. Others would call 4213 the 3rd prototype. Would be nice to know !!

    The Pilkington family has 4053 GT - not 4213GT - don’t seem to have any record of us ever having had 4213GT
