My front plate mounts on the tow hook, better than drilling holes in the bumper.

That does not look bad at all and atleast you are now legal ;). Is the plate secured at all 4 points?

Got pulled over just North of Maddisonville yesterday on my way back from Dallas for no front plate. DPS guy was nice, just gave me a warning. Not as nice as the City of Rice LEO that got me at 98 in a 70 on my way to Dallas. Guess my Escort 9500ci with laser jamming isn't as effective as I presumed it would be.

Do a search a Fchatter has made a pretty nice spring loaded bracket, that reaches thru the grill bars and is easily removable for shows or safely in your garage!

Oh, NO!!! I was cruising about 140 most of the way. Apparently there were some calls about a Ferrari traveling at a high rate of speed and they kept calling it ahead to the next county. The LEO was nice enough to tell me that they are watching for me, so slow down... Still made it in just over 2 hours...

I got tagged (for no front plate) as I was driving back to Tyler from Houston Tuesday near Central HighSchool south of Lufkin.

DPS State Trooper was nice and wrote me a warning, though I can almost assure you I was exceeding the speed limit.

He did not mention the speed, so I failed to as well :D

Told me to get another and be careful :)

Don't ask don't tell, lol. I was pulled over while driving with my Rx7 group through the hill country in a "spirited" manner. Said he was going to give all a warning.....I said thanks and just kept my mouth shut, lol. I didn't know what the list of warnings entailed, lol.

Got pulled over in Celina just last week for no plate. He actually had someone pulled over already and jumped in his car to come after me. But it was just a warning, he was a young HiPo, I think he just wanted to check out the car.
