    The audio specialist just whatsapped me a teaser of the completed audio setup. Looks pretty neat. Better sound equally good as it looks. Won't know till Wednesday.

    Not to steal this thread from you , but could you PLEASE photoshop a Nero F430 with a red "scud" stripe and a Nero with the grey top? Just curious ...

    I could not see anything really. The iPhone 4S camera is so much better, even in low light.

    Here is the best I could do. B&W was mandatory for uniformity.

    Lol....that was the only shot he sent me with all four speakers. What about this one? The whole idea was to integrate the speakers onto the rear shelf. Think they did a good job at that.

    430 Addict - love the mods on your 430. It looks great! You mention you painted some of it to look like carbon fiber. How did you do that or did you order the parts that way? They look very real from the pics...

    Thanks buddy. Its either I painted over carbon bumpers or painted certain panels such as side mirrors to mimic a carbon look. Those faux carbon parts have since been replaced with thegenuine article but if you are interested the closest paintcode to work with is grigiosilverstone in gloss.

    Thanks for the reply. Where did you get the paint to do the faux carbon fiber? Also, where did you purchase your original parts from? I'm guessing you didn't order them from Ferrari as it would likely cost tens of thousands of dollars to put them all on. Did you also do the engine bay? I ask because I recently traded in my 599 GTB for a 430 Scuderia and the radiator resovoir cap is completely faded due to the heat. Ferrari wants $1,600 to replace the part! Due to the heat, it will likely just fade again, so I'm looking for an inexpensive alternative.

    They look neat, discrete (from outside the car) and purposeful.

    I'd like to have seen a couple of tweeters up front left and right extremes though. Did they do that for you?

    Radiator cover was sanded down to completely remove factory resin. Recoated with lacquer. All in less than usd$200.

    Yes. They managed to hide two in the front in the pillar with small cut out to expose part of the tweeters. It's s neat job. Just don't have pix to show now. I believe the sound shouldbe quite a blast. I'll know tomorrow.

    Is that a mixture of Rockford Fosgates Coax and 2-way?

    Looks like it will makes a lot of sound! :)

    Where do they mounted the amplifier and which door system do you use?

    Spot on buddy. You know your hardware.

    No door system. I'm running Scuderia carbon door cards. So no door speakers. Amp is a mini unit hidden with the box.

    Update: Car is ready but missing one stupid part. The piece that bolts on to the rear bumper for attaching the license plate. Where can I get that? Eurospares?

    I just double sided taped my number plate on to the rear bumper in my previous 430. Same with front plate too. Alternatively, a sticker plate would be great too.

    Buddy, sure, you can do that for a 430 as the number plate portion is flat solid. I used to have an crylic number plate for my rgular 430 bumper then a sticker for my 430 challenge bumper. Now with the Scuderia bumper, it is basically grilles over the area where the number plate is supposed to be and there are four bolts which I believe are for securing a base plate for mounting the number plate.

    Got the car back. To excited. No camera with me do iPhone pix for now. Roof liner... Nice contrast. At an angle everything looks alcantara black but white stitches appear when viewing angle changes. Sweet. I love it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
