Also agree with the old spot.

The dumpsters aren't very attractive and it looked empty to me when I was pulling up last time. Plus, the walk to Starbucks is further and I'm just too lazy at the time of the morning.

I have an interesting observation. Back in the day this event was an opportunity to do something from 8-10AM at the latest. The theory was what else do you have going on at 8AM on Saturday morning. It has become a much longer event. With many of us staying until 10:30 and then going for a drive catching lunch and before you know it its 1PM in the afternoon. Half the day is shot. I liked it when it was simpler. Show up at 8AM. Have a coffee.Chat with a few friends. Head out by 10 at the very latest. Go do your chores or go for a drive if you have nothing else planned. I think the conflict with regular customer traffic is happening because its become a much later and much longer event. Just an observation. Jon in Delaware.

I agree completely. Not that I mind the extra activity, just that it's changed a lot. When I started coming in 2008 thanks to the invite from the prince of a women's shoe empire, it was a small group (we all easily fit in the Starbucks) and we were all on our way by 930-1000.

Now I feel like if I don't stay past ten, I miss cool cars, drives and lunch. Funny part is that when I first started coming, my personal life allowed me to squander my Saturdays away. Now, with a wife, house and all the obligations that come with it, I'm lucky I get my two hours a week at C&C and the fun car is lucky it gets driven once a week.

    The times are a changin.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing you all at C&C for many Saturdays to come no matter which side of the Starbucks we park on.

Back to the future, back to the new old spot, back the way it used to be, back to the simple days, but looking forward to an outing with the trusted crew.

Thats funny. You know its not so bad that we are sort of rethinking and possibly reinventing. The worst thing would be apathy and then the event dies. I Love that people care enough to discuss it. Agree,Disagree change no change doesnt matter...just care enough to ask...and care. See you all as soon as I can. Jon proud to be a member of this group in Delaware

I agree that where we meet doesn't matter as much as that we DO meet! Be that as it may, going back to the old spot suits me fine...I enjoy being part of the group wherever it is.

I know sometimes I'm there past 10 just because I get chit-chatting with people - not all of whom you see every week, so I like to catch up. Of course, the fact that I usually don't show up until after 9 factors as well. Interesting also that as the numbers swell a bit the nicer weather, we get enough cars that the old and new areas in the Starbucks lot start to meld together anyway!

The old spot would be OK if everyone set their alarm clock. On Saturday I set it for the earliest time all week so I can arrive at 8:00 AM. ;)

That's a good point. It's really the guys that show up first that get to pick where to park.

It was a micro human experiment, by nature we initially follow the herd. Theory confirmed! Must be ancient instinct, safety in numbers kind of thing.
