It appears my 2012 458 has developed some transmission whine. Had not noticed this until about 2000 miles. Dealer says this is normal. Have any of you 458 owners noticed a low transmission running gear whining sound. Only noticeable at low RPMs and speed. like 30 mi./h as your coming to a stop or low RPM constant speeds? Find it unusual that it wasn't there at the beginning and has developed over time. maybe a break in issue?
Have your dealer check your vin and see if your gearbox is affected. If so change under warranty. Same problem with mine only 1200 miles.
