    The repeater if from around 1910 (based on memory). It is a 31j as opposed to the more common 29 j models. The movement is small enough to convert to wristwatch. In my opinion, this would be a sin considering that I'm the third owner and the watch still gas it's box and papers. Most importantly it works well and produces a beautiful sound all the way up to 12:59

    I used to prefer Patek perpetual calendars, but now I am partial to Audemars and Vacheron. Audemars are great value and they have instantaneous date change that most Patek do not. Vacheron perpetuals are near impossible to find, but real nice.

    Also, I hate the new Patek watches because they no longer have the Geneva seal.

    5035 is an Annual Calendar not a perpetual. Very Nice watch though.

    What is available in yellow gold? That's what I love. Not rose gold, or white, or even platinum.

    I love JLC and IWC for perpetuals, and also repeaters, but PP is out of my league, I'm afraid.

    Yeah, ridiculous, I know. You know how it happens. A buddy wants to buy a car. You tag along. Next thing you know, you bought a GTR. At least it's a Patek. It's gone up in value since I bought it. I don't think I can say the same for much else I've bought for myself. Oh well.

    It's hard to go wrong buying Patek complications :)

    It will definitely be worth a lot more than you paid for it 14 years ago. Maybe sell it and buy another Patek
    Model that you prefer.
