    One of the things I really miss from my CS is the totally brutal automatic throttle blip on downshift through the paddle gearbox, is there any way to make this happen on my SCUD ??

    Hi Richard, how do you mean automatic? From driving several CS's and my 16M I haven't noticed a difference - both seem to do mega blips at any speed. (I know you owned a CS so have much more experience).

    Well its (automatically) ECU programmed in I guess, my SCUD simply doesn't go BAM, BAM, BAM ! which my CS did as I go down through the box into a junction or sharp corner, it sounded great, I loved the drama ....

    So manual down changes coming up to a junction doesn't give a lovely Bam?
    16M does just that. I have Capristo with valve control but then so do you - any revs (even coasting to a stop with only 1200 revs) gives a great Bam, smile on face and happy driver!

    Strange, my OEM SCUD exhaust was the same, is there a difference between the 16M & SCUD in the ECU gearbox programming I wonder ? Other SCUD & 16M owners please let us know ....

    i know what you mean.

    If i am driving slowly lets say in 6th gear and going 80km/hr and gradually slow down, i do hear the blips but they are very low in volume and not dramatic at all. Now lets say I am in 6th gear and doing 80 km/hr and hit the brakes or want to slow down all of a sudden then yes the blips are much much louder.

    I think its speed related plus slow down related.(i hope you got what I mean and I didnt confuse you)

    My 09 Scud has very pronounced throttle blips on any manuel downshift, sport or race mode.

    mine too- definate and abrupt blip on downshifts- sound is amazing

    is this an 08 vs 09 SCUD thing, mine does bam, bam, bam, but not BAM, BAM, BAM ! like my CS did
