    Hey Stratos guys,
I sold my car years ago but I've found a complete (Omicron) set of decals for the car:
Two "Stratos" for the top of the doors
Two "b" bertone for the pillers
One "Stratos" and one "Lancia HF" for the rear

PM me before I list them on ebay.

That is a great find, Alberto. There is an English version, also, which is surprising for a car with such limited production.

Shortly after I acquired my Stratos in 1986, the then (and I think still the current) head of the Stratos Club sent me my original copy, free. That was very kind of him.

I have been away (in Spain - lovely!) until yesterday and spent some time in the garage roday, just looking at the cars that I missed. I thought one view was particularly nice and took a snapshot, shown below.

The good thing about a plain white garage is that it shows off the cars very well. Here the Dino contrasts nicely with its cousin. Or so I think!

    Warm regards to all,

    Andres

Andres, Each picture you post of your Dino and Stratos is better than the last! Seeing this latest one was a magnificent start to my humdrum day! Fred

I love the way the two fenders contrast so radically...Great pic! Thank you Andres.

Thanks, Mike, Fred, Alberto. I am glad you like the photo. Yes, the styles are quite different. The Dino is so subtle, while the Stratos doesn't care at all!

    My best,

    Andy

I was just reading the current issue of Sports Car Market and was surprised that a Stratos sold at US$380,000 this May at Monaco. The prices are going crazy and, I think, not altogether good for us enthusiasts.

The pre-auction ad is on this link -

    http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2012/5/1/Up-for-Auction-1976-Lancia-Stratos-Stradale-by-Bertone-7708626/

It is surprising also that the street or Stradale version is now considered "rare," as opposed to the competition version. SCM also supports that view. I suppose so many have been converted to Group 4 specs; the same is probably true of 427 Cobras.

That's the case for almost all historics/collectibles Andy.
The one at this auction had many unoriginal parts and didn't look too good. People are finding the car market as some kind of safe harbour and we all know where this can lead.
On a side note Claudio Maglioli paste away last week, RIP.

There's a good section here on a ride in a Stratos making all the right sounds.

Whilst you're enquiring, could you ask for me please Alberto? I may have a spare limb to forfeit if you can find another manual

    Thanks!

Phil, this one was on eBay forever, and it seems it finally sold. No idea if real or not.

Put a search on, eventually it might come up...:)

The ebay manual was real and seemed fairly priced so I bought it to go with our new Stratos.

    Ciao,

    Bill

It seems three Stratos have made their way to the US recently. One GR4 and two stradales from what I have heard.

At Carrozzeria Bertone in Grugliasco/Torino, with Lamborghini Urraco cars, right on the catena di montaggio. I have another photo with Espada cars on the left. Times have changed.
