You got me! The road was wet and sprinkling at the time, but no standing water to be seen. Wish I got pictures, front end was pretty smashed up. The guy did NOT look to happy

Couple of interesting cars spotted today at one of my favorite dealers. The 1952/53 Ferrari 166 Vignale is rather rare and the Detomaso a little different. That would be a QVALE Mangusta. DeTomaso was not involved by the time the cars actually made it to the USA. There are a half dozen or so in the Chicago area. I wouldnt mind getting a yellow one.Fun cars and very easy to make very fast due to the Mustang power.
DeTomaso pissed off QVALE so they broke ties, but still sort of a DeTomaso. I saw it at the Chicago Autoshow when they came out and did not know that many were in Chicago. It would look better without so many styling gimmicks.
I spotted a blonde lady driving a red 360 Spyder with polished/chrome oem wheels near Lincoln ave, a black 430 on lake shore drive and a yellow 430 Spyder with rear plate( t*xl*ss). At Bentley Gold Coast spotted: Veyron and Murcie SV( looked like same grey one spotted last weekend at Super Car Saturdays???)
Felt like I was in So-Cal tonight, so many exotics! Wynstone: Bentley Conti GTC Wierdly modded S65 SL600 Renntech Deer Park red 360 Modena Silver 997 Turbo Convertible w/ like a weird double spoiler... red Saleen S281 with two sets of rims Barrington: red Audi R8 V10 Spyder, parked next to... a blue 360 spider with Scuderia rims (saw it a couple of weeks ago) 2011 E63 South Barrington: red F430 I saw a couple weeks ago wierd S63 black Viper (no pics) a blue Viper GTS racing a 991! (no pics of the 991) and when I came out of the AMC in Barrington an Alpina B7 parked next to me!
So...I was headed up to Deerfield on 94 yesterday around 6:30pm and spotted some One Lap of America cars headed southbound. Black Ferrari 430, and a hot new Blue BMW M5. Probably 6 or 7 cars in total but those were the ones that stood out!!

Rolls Royce Ghost in Deerfield on Deerfield road Plate Ghost 56 SL55 AMG in HP at craftwood lumber 30 seconds after RR near 30 seconds after that a dodge muscle car of some sort from the 70's or something near petco ,,then right after that a Maserati quattroporte at the red light on deerfield right near the Jewel entrance. also 2 m5's and two m3's along sheridan road between hp and evanston and a sweet maserati convertible, all black with red writing on the back. sick as hell 4 times during the past week ive seen the same black aston Martin being driven on Everett road, near the roundabout and waukegan road and once leaving LFSC. my dad also saw him a 5th time in the same place. i think he just got it cuz i saw him leaving LFSC last saturday with a huge smile on his face. so same car seen 5 times in a week by my dad and i

saw a blue ferrari FF getting off of the edens at lake cook. tried to turn around to follow it and hopefully get a picture but it was gone to fast. i looked around in the parking lots of some of the nicer restuarants near there to look for it, but it wasnt there (nice bently continental and a maserati granturismo at mortons steakhouse tho). so i gave up. then like 2 hours later im waiting at the red light on lake cook and pfingsten and the FF goes by me headed toward the edens. if it hadnt been for bad luck with the lights i would have caught it and got my picture but the next time i saw it, it was just getting on the edens and i was still stuck 2 lights behind it. i looked on the highway and up onto 41 but it was long gone. soo close. also saw a red viper gts (i think thats wat its called?) on skokie valley road and clavey in the party city parking lot and then a silver aston martin at lake cook and waukegan a little after that near 10:00 so overall pretty good day
