Yeah, this is a different Koenigsegg and is up at the Penske dealership where this event will be. And putting virtually no miles on such a car really is a shame. Especially when it's such a performance focused car like that. Really appreciated that about Fred and his Enzo.
Right. This is one of the CCX Editions (which is why I said one of two). Shame where it's parked and such, though. Makes it super tough to get decent photos (and the seat covers, trickle charger and ropes certainly don't help).

And yet no sign. Big deal!

I saw both of the Koenigsegg cars when I was there. Ron (at the Ferrari dealer), the tech that takes care of them, was pretty helpful.

Saw the "Edition" at Penske yesterday. It had the roof off. It was amazing!.....Is the Supercar Saturday event still going the 3rd Sat. of each month also?

Did anyone go to this? How was the turnout? I'll try to make it to the one in April.

I swung by a little after eight and turnout wasn't great, unfortunately. Definitely felt like it hurt itself by launching on the same day as Windgate and not having a WHOLE lot of publicity to the lead up. I think next month will definitely be stronger. While I was there, there were some nice cars, but at the same time, cars kept leaving as others arrived, so the lot was pretty spotty the entire time. I do think it has a lot of potential, though. Being just off the freeway and being a dealership, the location and actual parking lot really lends itself to this kind of event. Kind of a nice setup for the photographers that like to get panning shots of cars coming and going from the event, too.

And, no, unfortunately the Koenigsegg was still tucked away in the dealership, but I really didn't expect them to bring it out or anything.

Thanks for posting...given that I'm jet-lagged and thus was up at 5:30am today, I may actually be up in time to go to this tomorrow morning :)

Perhaps I'll see some of you there...

Where exactly is this thing? (it only says 101 and scottsdale - do I just head to the lambo dealer or what?)

Scottsdale Rd just before the 101 on West side of scottsdale, can't miss it, think I will go up for awhile around 8 or so. Great museum if you like race cars.

Kind of a bust. Only 2 Ferrari's and perhaps a dozen cars in all. I think there were more people manning the food trucks than showing cars. Oh well...See I knew nothing interesting went on early in the morning :)

Agup wasn't 'occupying Wall St' this morning. He was occupying my right seat on the FCA drive. :)

It was great. We got an early start. Saw little traffic. Passed the DPS (with radar) on Yarnell Hill. I waved to officer Bill, as we went passed. (Ask me how I know his name)

Hammered to Prescott. Had breakfast and was home by 12:20. All in all a great morning.

Way better than visiting car dealers and fending off the question.... "So, how can we get you in this car...... today"!

I made it to Penske around 9 and there was not many cars there. Ended up looking at all the dealership cars then took off.

Not many cars showed up, but good excuse to check out the dealerships. Porsche had an amazing 993 Turbo with 20K miles on it. $89,000. :-0

As a Mini owner, I really enjoyed seeing the Goodwood Mini. Don;t know if it worth $52,000, but it was pretty sweet.

Good timing with their 72 hour sale, too bad they didn't let me test drive the S500, would've bought it if they did. Guess they didn't want a sale. Their loss!
