I wonder how a well-used finely detailed car without clear film looks next to a well-used clean car with clear film? I haven't detailed my cars and they look pretty good... at least to a casual observer.

It seem the paint chips might distract from the detailed finish. And the fine removal of clear coat might start showing after a few times.

This would be a must if you are selling.Came out excellent

 

$500-$1,000 detail would probably bring the car up to the standards expected by the buyer, unless he was really finicky. You could always lower the price by $5k to make it happen, and he would be happy and you would still be ahead by $2k over going this route.

I don't think a $7,500 detail would increase the price enough to justify the time and expense, unless the paint/clearcoat were in pretty bad shape to begin with. That generally is not the case with Enzos, and if there was one in such a condition, I think chips would need to be addressed first, which would add significantly to the expense, leaving even less for this type of detail.

Besides, you should do it for your own enjoyment, not for the next owner to enjoy. If he wants it, he can get it himself.
