Oy yoy yoy........
Just added this one to my collection yesterday. Was unsure of how I'd feel about a squared face, but loving it so far. Nowhere near as nice as any of h2oskier's. Image Unavailable, Please Login
For the last year of so have been wearing Ange Barde's "Legend Racer" for casual(most of the time). It has a rubber strap and is very "sporty". It is definitely different and it has become one of my favorite watches. I am not sure if he is still doing it, but Ange was very agreeable about making my watch with some custom features.
I wouldn't wish a watch addiction on anyone Thank you but watches are consuming. Mostly of money pictures? Love to see it.
I'm trying to avoid it, but getting there. Here's the majority of my collection (yes, 3 of them are reps, and I'm pointing that out as a disclaimer, and no, I'm not trying to pass any of them off as real). I inherited ~8-9 of them from my grandfather after he passed away. I have a few others that I'd rather not post photos of, but the coolest one is the one on the top rack, far left corner, it's a Swiss watch of some sort that my grandfather received upon graduating medical school in the 1930s. I'm trying to find a decent place to restore the thing so I can actually wear it in his memory. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome I hope my grand kids one day get my watches. I also wish I had a dad or grandpa that liked em. My dad has actually never worn a watch. Crazy.
Grandkids? Holy crap; I didn't figure you were any older than ~35. I'm still trying to learn a lot more about watches (one of my very close friends, an FChatter, incidentally, is a watch guy and I'm continuously pestering him with questions), but even if I can't afford the good stuff, I'm still incredibly curious to learn how things are done. I'm going to do some strap-swapping soon... figure out what looks good with what.
I'm 43 It's funny we want are 3 kids gone but want grand kids lol I will start telling people I am 35 tho.
Funny since I am trying to push my watch love up the chain instead of down it. Bought a Tag for my grandpa and an Omega for gramma. Mom's turn is next.
It may not be the Patek or Girard Perregaux Worldtimer (a bit pricy for me!) so got one that looks similar that I could afford! JeanRichard Worldscope Image Unavailable, Please Login
