When taking the top down the flaps wont close.
Any idea how to repair or reset the top movement?
    Thanks in advance.

Be very careful, they are prone to BREAK off... had it happen once..

Make sure you are fully cycling the up/down procedure. Try it a few times and they SHOULD reset, IF there isn't a problem. DON'T force them by hand. Take to a dealer before screwing too much with.

Not sure what part you are talking about, can you upload/link a picture?

When the top is put up the flaps close? Just on the down procedure they stay open?

yes the top goes down perfectly and completed the entire movement minus the flaps closing at the end.

It could be one of the microswitches. Trent, do we need to dust off our roof trouble-shooting notes?

When you put the roof up, do the flaps close?

Are you referring to the Capote flaps?

yes the capote flaps DO close when roof up. but remain open when top is down and that triggers a 'convertible top open' warning light on the cluster display.

I think I'd be checking the microswitches. I doubt very much that this is a hydraulic issue because, if memory serves me right, the flaps are opened and closed by a motor and wire arrangement. I guess, for the motor to activate and therefore open/close the flaps, there must be associated microswitches which "tell" the motor to operate.

    How handy are you?

You're in Delray/Boca. I think there are some good shops around there. PM me if you'd like me to give you contact info for one of the guys I've dealt with down there who seems to know his stuff.
