The REALLY sad thing is some sucker paid $85k for it at manheim, I would have bid the car at $50k... 05/09/12 NJ Regular $85,300 87,511 Below Red 8G A Yes
that does sound extremely high (to pay) but you can't really tell (or at least I can't really tell, from the VIN) what year or model this was. j/c, how do you know its a 360 or 430? is it possible then that it could be a 2009 430 spider?
Ex-Britney spears car with "paraphernalia" included with the car? If I DD my car, I'd beat that mileage.
Eighth last number is a 5. Therefore it's a 2005. Therefore it's not a 360. Therefore a 430. Therefore it sold for what it's worth.
It's a very early 430, probably Jan-Feb '05 delivery. A normal mileage example is probably 115-120K, so a 30K mileage discount is not so bad if it is in good condition all around. That's about 40-50 cents/mile. Dave
I believe there was a 99 with ~52k on the clock that sold for around $55k. But thats not the norm or the market. For $85k you could have had an awesome 360 with less than 20k on the odometer that was taken care of with a full service history.
I be,vie this is the car everyone is discussing.... Is close to where I live when it gets here i will report what I have seen

I just saw this car today it is at a dealer in Elizabeth nj. This car needs a lot of body work and shows a lot of signs of wear... I dident turn it on or drive it just seen it up close from the outside but from what I saw the car needs some love!!! Anyways someone must have enjoyed the hell out of that car!!!
I work on these cars every day of my life and I can say that some of the best driving 360's/355's/430's with the least amount of problems are the ones that have over 50k on the clock.
+ 1 Perfect performance & Still Pristine at 58,500 miles ! Biggest advantage of high mileage: The wife drives it without heartache Enjoy your cars guys... life is short ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
There are quite a few people stuck in the 80s. 30 years later, let's say today, Ferrari is building quite reliable cars. 360, F430, 458, California, 550, 575, 599, 612, FF, F12 are cars that can be driven everyday. Never understood what's fun about keeping a depreciating asset on 4 wheels stored in a garage and barely driven to cars and coffee.
The people in the eighties were wrong. I drove my eighties Ferraris daily (328gts and Testarossa) and they performed as reliable as the cars of today.
That's great to hear as technology has gotten better through the years of course but it's nice to hear that the quality has been there all along
