Subscribe to the Ferrari Market Letter. It's $40 for 6 months... Once subscribed, email them and they'll email you back with whatever information they have on this car. I used them with great success last year, and they have information on most, if not all cars out there.

I'm talking about a Euro Car. Do you think they might have info about it as well?

If its in the States (use of term 'Euro' suggests US location) they may but you have given no geographical data either in your posts or your profile to help anyone trying to help you

Might be worth asking in the geographical section where the car is located eg France as there are chassis no collectors in Europe whose data may not be in the 308GTB register

The owner of Ferrari Market Letter just posted into a thread about the magazine, they will answer your question without subscribing....

    Try and see...

The car is slightly newer than my three 20405 (1976) and 22127 and 22641 (1977) so you can see it's maybe mid 1978 production???

No real change in the Euro cars until 1980 or so, we got catalytic exhaust here in 1978.

No, that mixture is what made it so good.

Sorry I can't help with the serial number search. FML would be a good start. Also, it's a long shot but have Google'd the serial number along with "308 GTB"? Of course this page will likely come up in the search results.

Also maybe do some internet searching for a European 308 GTB registry. One might be out there.

O.K Furmano, for the record the french expression is: "je n'ai plus les yeux en face des trous", which could translate as: "my eyes are not in front of their holes anymore"; used usually when you have one stiff drink too many, or, either, when you are really, really tired and unable to think coherently...

    That's what I said : "Bad mixture of Wine-French-English"

I'm glad you liked it anyway ;-)

As you have already seen on the chassis number list on the register website, I don't have any information about this one in my database - even didn't know that it was a 308 GTB!

It's not in Matthias Urban's book either. It skips right over it with a 400 (25467) then a black LHD BB512 (25489)

I know this really doesn't help. Just thought I would post what I read.

It is a pretty comprehensive book 1947 to 2007. Mine is in it, even has it's color listed. Nead stuff, close to 1000 pages of just chassis/models
