We all knew it was coming...the first "special edition" 991. http://www.topspeed.com/cars/porsche/2013-porsche-911-club-coupe-ar130141.html So...what special edition can we expect next week? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
About time. I've already got a deposit on the 30-Day commemorative edition, celebrating the 991's success in May.
~$75k markup over the regular car. Limited to 13 units. Thats not even a rounding error in Porsches balance sheet which leads me to believe this car is a gift to certain dealers so than can pocket the extra cash.
Who cares about suspension anyway? With the Evoque you get a Hand-sewn leather wallet for owner's manual signed by Victoria Beckham. Now that is cool. Anyway, Porsche's have a rev counter where the speedo should be.
Let's see how many more variations of the 991 they will have. C2, C2S, C4, C4S, all those in cabs, targas, GTS, Limited Ed, RS, GT2, GT3, etc
So, do you guys think this Special Edition will be a good investment going forward? I mean, $75 extra, and only 13 cars, and with the wallet and all, this sounds really cool! I saw Victoria on tv once too, she was hot! That adds something, right? This would be neat to park next to my Indy Pace Car 'Vette!
It looks like some people at Porsche saw a Mustang Bulitt and thought "There's an idea, we'll copy this!"
'Brewster Green' is a color never offered before by Porsche, except as paint to sample. It was the favorite of Porsche family members. So I do like the color, but not for 75K!
