    +1 on both.

In looking at the replay, there was no contact (as a matter of fact, I'm not sure that there wasn't more room than Sato thought, causing him to pinch down and/or breathe off the throttle such that the car went loose too suddenly) and it was a worthy effort.

Listening to Rahal's calm radio coaching of Sato, it's clear his upturn in form is an entire-team effort. It was a good race...

After Sato crashed out I changed channels as I could not bare another Ganassi parade so I actualy missed the finish. I was so frustrated I did not even watch the Coca Cola 600 and just turned in early.

Lol Tex I could not agree more, I was at the track and I just decided to go sit down and have a drink, it's not Dario I don't like it's GnASSi and Ashley Judd. Dario won, I'm only interested in hearing from him really!

And holy cow after watching that replay the race was almost unwatchable!!! Commercil City..

Agreed, he is as bad as his dad was and still is, the apple does not fall far from the tree. During the race the commentators kept mentioning the 'Andretti Curse' and imho the curse is because Michael and Marco are whining baby's who need their diapers changed.

Check out this Sato's crash from this fans vantage point. GREAT coverage.

Sato just sat there. he wasn't banging his steering wheel or anything.

Take a look at the rear tire guards missing and how the wing took the damage.

I'd say the new aero kit's are doing there job keeping drivers safer.

He's got to be getting used to crashing out in the last couple of laps, by now. ;)

I've lost count of the number of times he's crashed out of a top five finish at the last moment.

I like one online description: a gutsy, insane, irresponsible move, that, had it worked, would have been the stuff of legend. ;)

I can't help but wonder what was going through Dixon's mind, when Sato followed Dario past.
    I'd guess it isn't printable. ;)

Sato's day will come, he drove a masterful race.

But, just like everyone who dipped a wheel under
the painted line on Sunday, he spun off.

After Dixon and Franchitti combined to stop his momentum
laps earlier and he came back up the order to challenge
for the lead, he had yo go for it at Turn One. Too bad it
    didn't work out.

I meant a lap earlier, when Scott and Dario were trading off the lead, and Tacu followed Dario through, sending Dixon from first to third in one corner.

After Sato's crash, it was just a one lap parade under caution to the finish, so there was no chance for Dixon to take a shot.

They could not replace it until his next pit stop, for the crewman incident?
Or did not realize it had broken until he rejoined the race.
He was only going one lap and then coming back to serve the penalty...

The wng was blamed for the car handling.....that's about the most mellow I have ever seen AJ, what a great interview!

"Everything has to go JUST RIGHT, to win here..."

"He was on a great drive, at least we know he's a competitive driver....."

Rock on, Super Tex...that brought a tear to my eye, after watching that car go backwards and airborne down the catch fence.

He drove into the lower white paint stripe, same thing as Marco's move.....no traction on the paint itself.

Or, the difference between it and the rubber coated track almost always upsets the car....

I thought you were referring to dixon being in 3rd behind dario and sato at the time... being a tad bit excited that both of them might go out infront of him so he would take first... Dario got lucky to get out of there unscathed

It was negligent to send a car with a broken wing out on the track. It could have been much worse than it was.

I'm not sure they realized it was broken???

If they had, they would have fixed it, before flagging him back out...

Wanted Sato to win. Would have been epic. Despite all, Dario knew Sato was coming on and drove him down low. I like DF, but this is not a good win in my opinion. He stole it.

I'm sorry but I just can't get over all the cars looking exactly the same. It just ruins the event for me.

They have to give engineers more flexibility. Its lame.

I was sitting in Turn 2 and absolutely LOVED the race. They were going after each other and it is easy to see that this series has improved a great deal.

The cars look MUCH better in person than they do on TV.

Great job by Rubens and was rooting for TK to win it and then Sato-san, but even so it was a great race.

I was in turn 1 and completely agree. That was a great race, and the fans responded well. I can't wait to see them go at it at TMS in 2 weeks.

That is the problem of the "marketers"

You know about this type of thing:

    How to "brand" your brand?

Which car stood out amongst all of the cars, and did you need to read the side of that car to know the sponsor?

It really helps if you can avoid smashing your star's skulls in, like so many pumpkins on a fence post???
