    I've been reading Ted Turner's autobiography and discovered Turner had a Ferrari in the 70s which he had a trailer hitch for his sail boat attached to. Since Ted never really got into cars he didn't mention the year or make. Anyone got any more information on the car? Maybe even a picture?

    I bet seeing it backing up to a launch ramp was an interesting sight.

    it was a red 250 Berlinetta... the boat in question ( if I have the correct boat ) weighed only 120kg all up plus trailer... there were similar stories about a 330 GTS towing the same boat ( class )... I don't remember his Berlinetta having a trailer hitch...

    Thanks for alerting me to my less-than-ideal wording and really bringing a new, interesting dynamic to the discussion. I can only imagine how dull the internet would be if no one ever commented on grammar.
