Way cool...747 lifting off due to wind

I do remember the case ovalization problem and I recall that Rolls as early as the Conway touted their rigid and stiff cases and better blade clearances. Heavier engines, though. The fan case mounting problem is why engines now are hung on the gas producer case , I imagine. Speaking of the 747, that total airplane program was a huge ground breaking and back breaking show.
