yeah, I havent seen many either.
I'll definitely have mine out a lot more. ran it around last night. driving it to work today ;)

there were two others in my neighborhood:

    1) a black one with "batmobl" plate owned by the older white guy with the veyron. I heard he sold it recently. used to occasionally see this one on the road in JC area.

    2) a silver one owned by usher that (rumor has it) has been off roaded a few times. I've seen this one parked in a driveway with the sprinklers dumping on it but never driven.

    any others around ATL?

i dink around with a little with the local PCA and have not heard of one. i remember when they were introduced. i attended rennsport reunion 2 at Daytona, and PCNA was running demostration laps with them. The CGTs were up against the wall on the banking lapping/passing some very nice historic Porsche race cars.

Hi George, It's absolutely my pleasure. I have only seen 1 Maserati Merak in the wild ever and it was your car. I'm hoping for a better pic one day on the road. Still haven't received the check, it must be lost in the holiday mail :)

Hi Reuben, there was a silver CGT with NY tags here in Atlanta for many months. He stayed parked long term at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead (this car is now gone). I also know that there were 2 black CGT's located in CCS. Select Auto located in Marietta has a black one for sale as of today.

I shot the 1st pic in April 2011. Normally I wouldn't take a shot of a Hummer but I'm glad I shot this one. I later learned that it belongs to ReubenK.

The 2nd shot was found yesterday, it's the Ferrari California with the "BUELLER" tag. A much better shot than my first attempt.

I'm excited about this spot. I caught this owners F430 a while ago and I knew he had a Ferrari 599 GTB. Yesterday, I finally seen it. His tag made it easy to identify......it read the same as the F430 did. Bill your car looked and sounded awesome.

I've been hoping to find this Barchetta for a day pic. This owner also has the light blue 599GTB as well as the light blue California (BUELLER).

Thanks Ted, I appreciate you. When I first walked up to her I had the thought she was a GT roadster. There is no doubt that between the color and all of the enhancements that she is a real head turner. I can't wait to hear how she sounds.

If you want to "spot" some more Atlantans, be at AMP tomorrow morning around 10am and you'll see a bunch, taking kids for rides around the track. Looks like a great day.

Saturday afternoon in John's Creek, I spotted a 997 GT3 RS. This FChat Georgia owner recently purchased this car and I have to say that it sounded as good as it looked.

Thanks Allan! I was dying to take the GT3RS back up to VIR today (I was just there for 3 days 2 weeks ago) but unfortunately I had a commitment in Atlanta that I couldn't get out of today. I hope you had a great time up there--weather looked great!!
