thought this was interesting, not sure if it was a repost. http://www.2dayblog.com/2008/10/20/honda-nsx-modified-to-ferrari-360-modena/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
not sure why you would do that. The NSX is a beautiful machine by itself.. and kept its value. I've seen 1995 models still at $45k value, rivaling 1995 F355s.
other than the wheels, it's not a bad looking car, though not passable for the real thing. I hope they at least totaled the NSX first, because otherwise it's a waste of an already good looking car.
it's not just a Honda it's an NSX, designed by Pininfarina. Don't make the rest of us Ferrari owners look bad
I'm not an NSX fan but I ask myself why oh WHY would someone do that to a perfectly decent car. Of course I also wonder why someone would try to make something that isn't. Looks kinda Vette like from the rear with the greenhouse..
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I doubt there is a kit for the 360, to turn it into an NSX. ...... And, it is a Honda ...in the rest of the world. We call it an Acura, because the US consumers are brand whores.
didn't know 1995 was the best. I'll have to read why. I do love the 355 style and the sound... seen some $49-55k 355s (probably the low end of price range).
The aluminum body of the NSX is one key to it's performance.IMHO. If the 348 and 355's had an aluminum body as well the performance differential would have been different. I'm still surprised people are paying that much for a honda, especially modded as they are.
I wouldn't dream of it... Ah yes. This much I knew. Enlightenment for others though is good. God forbid any owners ever look bad.
Owned a 1991 NSX and it was a great car for its time. Aluminum body, titanium rods, V-Tec programmed fuel injection, 3.0 liter DOHC 24 valve V-6 engine, mid-engine 50/50 weight distribution and probably $40-50 bucks for an oil change. If..if...if.... If my grandmother had wheels she'd be a wheelbarrow. The 348 and 355 didn't have an aluminum body so it's irrelevant
They need to rip off all those Ferrari references and stick to what it is, a bastardized NSX. Too bad they achieved fail from success.
They ruined a perfectly beautiful NSX. The exterior remains pretty decent by today's standards. Interior needs some help but I can live with that. Pity. Fresh off my iPhone via Tapatalk
Funny thing is that if Ferrari didn't become more NSX then how many members would FerrariChat have or how many cars would the factory be producing? Lol... Reason why the NSX doesn't get more recognition is because posers can't tell what a car is.
This deserved a spot on the Repost Hall of Fame Agree with the others, don't ruin a perfectly good car.
