Do you guys think Felipe got hit in the head before Monaco and suddently remenbered how to drive again?
Not to worry. There'll be something to bash before too long It almost seems that the team knew more about his situation than the fans did. Sounds impossible I know, but there it is.
Just think about how short a period 2/3 of a second is, and then consider that the top 12 are within that margin. It's anyone's pole tomorrow!
Both Vettel and MS were running regular soft, where as everyone else is running super soft. Be interesting to see how much quicker Vettel and MS will be on the super soft.
As I said in the prediction thread, he does really good on this track http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=370734 post #8
I actually think the Speed announcers nailed it last week. In slow corners, the car is not an aero handful because the aero is not really working so Massa is better able to get more out of the car. Massa is having issues coping with the car when it is an aero handful in higher speed corners (Alonso not as much) which is making him lose tons of time relative to Alonso who is driving the car beyond its means. Moral of the story, Alonso is better at handling the Ferrari's quirks in quicker corners, Massa is not. Both Monaco and Canada are slow speed cornering tracks so hopefully Massa can make good there. I'm pulling for him. Mark

Anyone else notice the "Fanvision" gizmo on the cockpit of the HRT guys? Seems their own data displays aren't working too well!...... Oh dear! Cheers, Ian
SKY is saying they have softend the car up a bit for Massa like in Monaco and he has a better feel for the front end. The car just needed some tweaking more to his liking and style. So actually the set up was the problem from what is being reported now. This coming from Massa's engineer vice Speed as reported by Ted Kravitz from SKY.
merc trans or clutch problem apparently ....lots of cars having front lockup issues, button, webber, vettel, even hamilton has been puffing smoke off the front tires
Red Bulls trick front ducts banned; A quick animation showing what they were up to; http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/100230 Cheers, Ian
