They don't have much top speed though, apparently. Could be an issue in the race. Then again, the turn in/speed through corners could technically help them out over the others...

I wonder how Rosberg's going to fare having to sit out fp3? It didn't seem to bother him, munching on cereal the entire time lol.

Well I hope that's the case. Unless Massa ups his game on a regular basis, he has no argument for keeping his seat.

    I don't think they're too bothered....... Lap times aren't too bad ;)

Seriously, they've all been saying how quick the HRT (!) and Caterham in particular are in a straight line. What I don't get is why these guys don't crank on additional D/F? Sure, they'd be slower in the trap, but maybe they'd go round the corners a little better......

    Cheers,
    Ian

Indeed!..... 16 cars if you stretch that to 1.056 seconds!

    Boring though ;)

    Let's hope so :)

Staying up late (qualifying is 1AM at my place) to watch. Hope it's worth it.

To be honest I've never like Nico at all. Let's just hope he stays out of Michael's potential pole and win.

Agree'd. This one is good and the profile of Fittipaldi was great. I wish Ronnie Peterson was still around

+1 to all!.... I actually got to know Ronnie fairly well back in the day. Monza broke my heart :(

Question for the Aussies; Alan says "James was a hell'uva DAG as we say in Auz"

What's a DAG? [Damn awesome guy?.....]

    Cheers,
    Ian

The rear wing on the HRT is like a Monza wing, two uprights and a tiny piece of CF down the middle. Probably running sweet FA downforce...that'll contribute tremendously towards topspeed ;)

Great. They'll be as slow as ever over a full lap but tougher to pass.

    +1

I just don't get it - They obviously know this. WTF not put some real wings on the thing till they get to ~RB speed? Nothing to lose, that's for sure.....

    Cheers,
    Ian
