Ciao Maarten & Hugo, Thank you very much for the clarifications! I had one in german, but I can't find it! I saw on the internet while I was searching for the answer on my question that Willy Mairesse wrote the foreword; that must be the only occasion where he wrote something?! So the cheapest way to read the book is to buy the Marabout edition, which costs maximum 10 euros... Y.
Did anyone see this? There is a collection of Ferrari literature for sale on kijiji now. Posted a link below, however if you google "kijiji ferrari books" its one of the first links. http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-books-Ferrari-Books-Cavallino-Magazines-Ferrari-Market-Letters-W0QQAdIdZ378138894
I have this book in my collection, but in french language... I didn't know that prices where that crazy for this book! I saw prices ranging from 100 to 400 euros. Who knows why???? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't know why but for that amount of money i would prefer this: http://www.encyclopediedes24heures.com/ Maarten
that's right! Or this one, I once saw it in France for 500 euros, I was stupid enough not to buy it! Crazy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Italy , during the Mille Miglia. You could try: http://www.shoppingformula1.it/eng/index.php or send an e-mail to: www.gilena.it Good luck! Maarten
At the Mitty held recently at Road Atlanta, I picked up a copy of this book, which I had not been familiar with, for $30, which seems like a good value. The book was published in the U.K. (and in the U.S. by Doubleday) in 1965. Its 300 pages are filled with over 60 short essays about motor racing, written by a wide variety of (mostly) well-known people, as the list on the jacket front discloses. These are accompanied by a large number of black-&-white photos, including some photo essays on a particular topic. If you are interested in the history of G.P. racing through 1965, you ought to pick up a copy of this book if you can find one at a reasonable price. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I tried Luca at Shopping Formula 1 but he didn't have any in stock. He told me that many were damaged when they tried to trim the pages to size, because it's so thick. Nathan
Nathan , I've bought mine from Gilena. You could try there. I've heard the same story. And i can understand it because the book is REALLY thick. A picture of my latest addition to my library. Still waiting for another really nice book... Hopefully during Le-Mans Classic... Best, Maarten Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hi Nathan, You could also try the Libreria Autodromo at Monza, I bought my copy there last month. Ciao, Lars T.
I am getting ready to put some items on Ebay and thought I would offer them here first; Ferrarissima #1 & 2 from 1984 Ferrarissima #5 new series Book #1 only from Catalogue Raisonne' 1946-1981 The Cobra-Ferrari Wars first edition signed by both Schoen and Shelby Let me know if you have an interest in any or all?
There used to be a page on Ebay motors where historic photos, books, manuals and other ferrari collectables were posted for sale by dealers both here and world wide This seems to have gone away. I used to go to this almost daily. Any suggestions??? tongascrew
You're welcome. Good to hear you have found one! You can sleep much better now Not many are offered on E-bay. Best, Maarten
I saw it (The Sales Drive from Maranello) with Ben Horton today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I wasn't going to bother with it but after seeing it, and only in pre-production stage I was mightily impressed and ordered my copy today. You can request which number of the 200 (standard edition) you want, numbers 125, 166, 195 already sold. I will be having # 31, my son's birthday. Paul
Paul Pleased you like the book, and thank you for your comments. We have made a few changed from the prototype, but you probably wouldn't notice unless you have the two books side by side. Books that have been ordered should be delivered by the end of the month, all being well. Nathan
Great news Nathan! Look forward receiving it! Prototype looked superb , can't wait to see the "real thing"! Best, Maarten
Hello George, Than you for the compliment, but it's not only beautiful pictures in a beautiful format. It includes information, based on original research, that has never been published before, and which many people, including collectors are unaware of. That's also what one is paying for. Also luxury books like these, with limited print runs, are expensive items to produce. Nathan
I would be interested is seeing examples of the information you refer to. I already have a few originals and many reprints of it items in your book. This would be helpful in promoting greater interest in your publication. thanks tongascrew
