Horse, I see you've got some events on at Morgan Park. Thanks for the invite. http://www.morganparkraceway.com.au/service.htm
I'm looking forward (don't pay to look back) at this one....Historic Racing Car Club - QLD Historic Race Meeting
Horse can you explain or know why on occasions when people send me a text it doesn't arrive? I've seen it as sent on their phone but I never receive the text. Thank you.
Nope, I'm with Telstra as is my wife and my friend is with Optus. They've both sent me texts which I have not received. One from my wife arrived like 3 weeks later (that one was a picture). I've sent texts to that haven't been received!!! I'm wondering if it is my Samsung phone which has been a problem for quite some time. Hopefully Horse can answer the hard questions.
Has the same problem when sending texts to my kids. Me (iPhone 4 and telstra postpaid), them (iPhone 3 and Virgin prepaid). Began to wonder whether it was Virgin prepaid that was the problem. Now we all have iPhone 5s, I'm still with Telstra and I switched them over to Virgin postpaid. No probs with texts anymore...
Happens to Kerrari and myself(I) on an extremely frustrating regular amount of time. ..and when I receive a text from Karen, the posted sent time is hours prior to me actually getting it.
Oh, it's your tongue your supposed to hang out. There in lies the problem. But I do have a problem of receiving but lets not go there!! Thanks Horse.
I've had to fix OPTUS SMS system a couple of times in the past due to database migration, although they treat this with a high priority they just get it fixed when it stops and then wait for the 1-2 days it takes to catch up. It's only SMS !!! If something is really urgent you would use the phone
Whilst you DO have a point, what you're ignoring is that one assumes that the message went through to the recipient, urgent or not. SMS is a very handy tool, and I've never experienced the problem Brett's referring to, but it would be very annoying if I did. But Brettski, it won't be the phone.
