I know, someone has truelly gone fishing. One thing I have been hoping to see/witness for many years is an unbiased F1 journalist, guess I should collect my coins from the "Wishing Well" as it was all for naught.
The BBC gent lays it out. Simply put who will succeed MS and he is showing that he is the equal Rosberg this year. The team has few options as the conventional wisdom is MS days are numbered. Personally they should get Di-Resta when they can, dependent upon a future MS departure. If LH goes there he will take a paycut and in fact will at Mclaren if he stays. He has no where to really go and has been so warned by Ron Dennis. I see this as move to put the damper on driver pay overall in the larger scheme of cost containment.
I'm old and forgetful, but didn't Lewis just sign a muti year deal with McLaren, or am i thinking about someone else??
Must be someone else..... McHam is a free agent at the end of this season. Ron is on record saying he may need to take a pay cut due to the 'economic climate'. IIRC, JB is signed for a couple more years yet. As for cutting costs, I'm almost certain driver salaries are outside the RRA. Cheers, Ian
