2000 3 pedal, titanium with black and red stitching. No shields, manual seats, 1 owner, every maintenance record, annual just completed along with 30,000 mile service. complete with keys, books, etc. car currently has 29k miles.

I see these priced in the $58-$70 k range, the seller wants $65, do you think thats fair?

I have almost exactly the same car (same yr, color, and trans) and paid almost exactly the same price 7 months ago.

Some advice: make sure you know how many miles are on the clutch -- you'll be very lucky to get more than 25k out of one. Mine had 4 years and 22k miles on it and was starting to exhibit a lot of odd behavior, owing mostly to TO bearing wear as well as pressure plate fork weakness (i.e., not so much actual clutch material loss). The tech showed me all the parts and said that for F1 cars 15k miles is not uncommon, esp if you live in something other than a rural area. He said for 3 pedal cars, 25-30k miles is possible. Clutches aren't cheap and the price of the flywheel has tripled in the last few years (now almost $1800) and actually has an odd angled/beveled machining to it, meaning cutting it on a lathe, while possible, will result in different engagement/take-up from a new one, or so I've been told (and the wear which was visible on the clutch plates did corroborate this taper on the wear on the material -- meaning it was still new looking on one end [the inside? i can't remember...] and more noticably worn on the outside).

Read up on the headers and pre-cat issues too and see if yours are original.

    Good luck!

Very fair. Off color, high miles, low optioned.....but also 1 owner with complete service records.

$65K seems very reasonable if it is a nice car.

It certainly isn't a very desirable 360 (color, year, options, miles), but that is why the price is so nice.

Color sounds great to me and the price seems reasonable as long as there are not issues like the clutch.

Curt (and others) are of course correct but at the risk of sounding self-promoting / having an issue with bias, I think Titanio Grigio and TDF Blue are two of the best colors for this body style (the latter even more so on the 430). It also gets a little less attention when driving which, believe me, is bad enough in any color, no matter how stealthy it is. I can't tell you how many times people slow down either right next to me or, worse, in my blind spot, to gawk or snap a pic with a camera phone. It can be dangerous/cause some anxiety when changing lanes.

A red one with same miles and same year, Scuderia shields, black interior with red stitching, aftermarket wheels plus factory wheels sold shy of $70k here on the FChat ads. This was about two months ago.

While I really like red in all honesty the silver, titanio and grigio alloy show the lines of the car best.

I just sold a couple weeks ago a 1999 red tan 33k mile car at manheim auction for 62k so 65 is a great buy.

$65k is a private party asking price. For some reason I expect prices to be higher at dealerships. does this make a difference?

I think this car is fairly priced, I just sold my 99 3 pedal for close to $70k...however 18k and change....so it had 10k less miles

Your car was one of the best priced alternatives for anyone looking for a 360 all over the States.

I was just thinking the same thing. $70k for a well-maintained 3-pedal 360 with mileage in the 15-20k miles range is a great deal.

Hey its Donny, I thot you had one all picked out and getting serviced? Something go bad on that deal? I think the one your talking about sounds like a good deal if its in nice condition and you know what I got mine for, I'll be at about your price by the time mine is sorted perfectly. GL
