CampioniShop is SuperSprint's newly appointed distributor in North America for Porsche, MB AMG, Ferrari, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bentley Maserati and Audi S/RS applications.

SuperSprint has been under represented in the USA in the last few years and we are here to change that. They are one of the world's biggest exhaust manufacturer and provide many OEM and OE tuner with exhaust systems.

    About Supersprint:

The engineers at Supersprint realize that for maximum performance, exhaust development must begin at the exhaust ports of the cylinder head. This is why Supersprint has the largest variety of racing header systems in the world today. Each header incorporates CNC laser cut port matched flanges. Primary tubes are mandrel bent using the latest CNC tube bending equipment. With special tooling Supersprint has been able to keep weld joints to a minimum for added reliability.

The fully appointed R&D department uses the latest in prototyping equipment along with the reliability and accuracy of a MAHA "all wheel drive" chassis dyno. With over 50 years in performance exhaust development they have earned the confidence of many of Europe's most respected tuners. Most units are 100% stainless steel.

    Torque 601.9 Nm at 5490 rev/min.

    575 Maranello gains: +46.2 hp

Note: The gains are much more important on the 575 due to the increased engine size and SuperSprint was able to design headers with much longer primaries to increase exhaust velocity and decrease backpressure substantially over the 550 design.

Matt- Sounds like a nice system. Will the 575M headers bolt up to the OEM cats?

    Hi Matt.

    This car sounds amazing!

Question: Why do you use an "X-pipe" mid section? What does it do for performance in low and high rpms? What is your impression about adding straight single pipes (x 2) in place of the X-pipe?

I assume these systems are not exactly cheap.. What are we talking about here?

The headers will need to be mounted using the SuperSprint cat pipes or catless pipes due to the longer primaries over the stock headers.

Thank you for your feedback :)

SuperSprint has found the X pipe to not only produce more power, but also create a much more harmonious tone and eliminates considerable amounts of rasp - a very important factor when going fully catless.

The headers are of course not cheap, however we have priced the whole catless system very aggressively.

For instance we can offer the rear mufflers at 2186 + S/H, the X pipe and connecting pipes are 1,100 + S/H when combined. It makes for a cat-back system at 3,386 + S/H which is highly competitive considering these are hand made in Europe !

Matt, these headers look like they'll be good solutions as & when our 550's headers start suffering the same fate as the 355 headers (knock on wood).

Any options to offer the headers coated, or perhaps a slightly more exotic SS such as 321?

If someone purchased only the headers and cats, presumably that assembly would then bolt up to the rest of the OEM system under the car?

    Pricing for headers + cats?

We have many different options, we can have these made in 310SS or even Inconel for the hard core track guys. We can also micro-polish the 304SS headers. Attached below are examples of that on Porsche 997 911 Turbo headers.

Yes, the headers and cats will fit with the stock system.

You have a PM incoming for a price quote.

    Thanks Matt. Interesting.

I wonder what set-up (which parts) the SA in the video has? There is a lovely "musical" tone to it at 2-3000 rpm. It is like you can hear all the twelve cylinders! Do you make them with flaps so it is possible to go both loud and quiet?

    Thanks.

The SA has the full catted system. SuperSprint has started offering valved systems - starting with the BMW M3. They however do not have plans to retro fit these.

We have had a chat with SuperSprint's lead engineer this morning, here's what came out of the discussion:

The design of the V12 SS headers + metallic cats, with their high volume and excellent flow rate, their strategic placement away from the engine heads, draws the major source of heat away from the engine bay.

During our R&D process, we always perform a great amount of dyno and road test, under the most demanding load conditions, in order to ensure that our exhaust is safe.
Of course, this had been done on all of the Ferrari models, including the 550, the 575, the 612 and the 599.

When needed, on some selected models only, we do supply a specific heat shield kit for our headers (see the 355/360/430). Many Ferrari owners and service dealers are concerned with performance headers systems for their cars. We are aware of this.

From what we have seen, the most problems have come from the oem exhaust headers causing total car burndowns, as it often happens on the 458s. The Supersprint headers never have caused this, and never will, if installed properly.

Regarding ceramic coating, ceramic coating basically is a high temp, durable paint job, which It does not add any real barrier. Metal sheet heat shields are the only way to move a portion of the heat away from the area surrounding the headers.

That would be me for my MT 2002 575.

Car had the stock central resonator and straight through Tubi exhaust pipes. At least to my ear, it was too quiet. A great rumble at idle but not enough noise nor "scream" high up in the rev range. I don't want a lot of attention around town or when arriving home late at night so, we'll see. No driving yet.

Incidentally, I thought the Tubi would be a can. Nope, a straight through pipe with dual tips. I guess the cats quieten down the sound a lot.

The pipe arrived last week and I bolted it up this weekend. Appears well made, dimensionally correct and all in all, a pretty easy install. It is slightly thicker than the OE pipe so Supersprint provide two clamps for the cat end of the install. everything else just bolts up as it would on the OE system.

Pleasant discovery to find the OE pipe was clean as is the underside of the car generally. Big difference from the last Ferrari I owned.

I know everyone likes sound clips. When the snow (and salt) depart the Midwest for good, I'll follow up.

Philip- Cannot be any louder than my 575M with straight pipes was with the Novitec. You will like the sound, I bet.

Philip- That was the exhaust I always wanted and could not afford. When I found one cheap, I jumped on it. The Novitec was very loud, too. Fine for me, but rough on the neighbors.

    Hi Matt,

I have a 99 maranello which is already fitted with an Xost maranello exhaust mufflers with a stebro x pipe.
I am interested in doing the headers and the high flow cats. Please pm me on costs and availability?
Also, I am looking to do something about the lame breaks and suspension as well? I have HRE 740's in 19x9 in the front and 19x13's in the rear. They are wearing 255/19/25 and 355/19/20's respectively, any suggestions?( please keep in mind that I would like to keep cost down....well at least try to...lol)

Looking forward to hearing from you
