Anyone out there ever have there hazard flashers just come on while you are parked and out of the car? And they won't shut off. Felt like an idiot driving down the road with my flashers going so I pulled the fuse. Any Ideas other than a bad switch?
    Maybe my car is haunted.

It's probably a faulty alarm. Could just be that the siren isn't audible.

Sounds like your body control module is playing up (BCM),

Were your hazard lights staying on constant? or were they flashing as they would if you activated the hazard switch? Do they also play up when you either lock or unlock your car?

If you eliminate the alarm as a problem , the cause is strangely enough the fuel inertia switch mounted on the inner front fender in the engine bay . I known this sounds weird but I have done several of these over here in the UK and was amazed when I first traced it . It took me 4 months initially to trace it on my own car as it was so intermittant !!

Sorry solved the problem but do not know what causes it. Everytime i send my car for a wash, some form of electrical gitches happen. I ended opening up the passenger front well compartment and fiddle with the relays and fuses. Problem gone after that
