Hi Simon, I'm sorry you didn't receive my email. We are in the process of moving to our new state of art facility so its been a busy and hectic the last weeks for us. I sent you an email a few days ago regarding the new updated Sport Cats for the 458 that we are building for you. I will email you tomorrow with an update on it and an estimated date of shipping on the new pieces. I will also email you some nice photos of the new place and some project cars that we have been busy on.
    Thanks,

and if you are really lucky you can pay for some Fabspeed O2 spacers which are so well designed that you have to take the Cats off again to screw them in (on a SCUD) anyway

From time to time HJS Germany informs Fabspeed Motorsports USA of new improved catalytic converters for the newest cars. Fabspeed is one of the worlds largest aftermarket purchasers of HJS super quality German sports racing catalytic converters. We use the very best components. HJS is the real deal and their parts are the best.

HJS often advises us of these new improved catalytic converters and then we act on it. For example recently HJS recommended a new revised improved converter for the 458 italia. We followed their recommendation with success when the 458 came out and follow their recommendations as HJS issues updates. Porsche Ferrari and others don't share data or any engineering with aftermarket companies and never will.

    Another example>

Fabspeed got a new mclaren mp4 12c twin turbo car into the shop and this car required new special catalytic converters. In the meantime we made cat bypass pipes +40hp ( no cel lights after 500 miles and dyno runs can you believe it) and then we made HJS sport cats +32hp and no cell lights. 8 weeks later newer larger improved cats arrived. We will now use these catalytic converters. Updates are normal and customary in any business.

Fabspeed was the 1st company to make sports race cats for these new cars and each car presents a new fun exciting engineering challenge.

In the next month or so we expect an Aventador and new Ferrari ff to be coming in for systems. We will do our very best in a timely manner and report all the dyno data and X-ray results to our fellow tifosi

Joe, we all respect pioneers that is clear, but in 2011 I bought some SCUD cats from you which were triggering a CEL 3 years after the car was released. Your 90 degree O2 spacers are a joke as you have to remove the Cats to fit them as they don't clear the gearbox (unless I am missing something). My Capristo subsequent SCUD cats have never triggered a CEL.

Having to put up with the problem of the engine warning light keep popping up after installing their cat, my life has become miserable. (Jan 2012) more than 9 months.
I am sure they want to challenge my limits.

    ALex,
In the video with the car under the bridge, the brake lights are pulsing as you pull away. Is this the emergency flashers or some other mode I have never seen?

Hey Simon, sorry I couldn't jump on here sooner to check in to see how everything is working out with the new Sport Cats I sent you a few weeks ago. I hope everything is going well and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hey Fern, I wish it was an easy add on, but no its the HD video camera picking the LED light up frame by frame. It looks pretty cool, you wouldn't believe how many people ask about that.

    HI IM LOOKING FOR
•Fabspeed's Primary Catbypass Pipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters with much less restrictive straight-through pipes for maximum flow and performance

ITS POSSIBLE USE WITH THE ORIGINAL EXHAUST FROM MY 458 PSIDER OEM?
PUTS ON THE CHECK ENGINGE LIGHT?

WHAT ABOUT THE SOUND? YOU THINK IS NICE?

    THANKS FRIEND

    Hey Luixe2,

The Fabspeed caybypass pipes will work with your OEM mufflers with no problem whatsoever, they will bolt right into place. When running a catbypass pipe, you will always run the risk of illuminating a CEL. For this Fabspeed offers optional O2 sensor extenders which in most cases will keep the CEL off. We also offer an ECu tune which significantly improves the performance of the car, but it also allows your to run the catbypass with 0 chances for a Check engine light.

The sound of the Catbypass will be a big upgrade over stock. You can expect to notice a higher pitch to the exhaust as well as an improvement in throttle response. The 458 has the biggest cats of any OEM car I have seen with the exception of the Veyron!

I have sent you an email :)

    Evan
