How did you know that???? :D :D :D

This is actually an issue at the moment at our house. We cut down a row of old arborvitae that got badly beat up two winters ago and never recovered, We now have exposed ourselves to our next door neighbor. We never had a shade in this particular bathroom as it was 100% obscured by the tall hedge, but we will later today.

    Too funny.

Or maybe the Govt should get out of the business of collecting private info for dubious licensing purposes?

Right. People post worse on youtube or FB, if that's the videos referred, but google maps would be more to the punch on what might constitute danger.

What the heck...just get naked, hold your license plate over your navel and take your chances. What could go wrong

We were out of town that week.

The BR cam caught the neighbors doing a lot more than just feeding the cats for us while we were gone. :D

it's about security and privacy... the point is the image becomes a hard copy record with a time and place... in the grand scheme of things generally innocuous with no value, however, it could be useful by someone with nefarious intent... stuff does happen, why add fuel

Exactly, otherwise why not just post every blasted thing.

What I'd really like to know is why make this an issue/point/meaning, the alternative is not to post it. So, if it makes no matter in posting, should make no matter in leaving it out.

it's not that anyone is deprived of car images, there are plenty of images available, if one wants a local photo for personal reasons, cool... it's the incessant stream posting of the images, it has involved into a competition of sort as to who posts more, borderline invasion of ones privacy...it's almost as if it is an obsessive compulsion that consumes these people, perhaps it is the vicarious need to insert themselves into a lifestyle they cannot otherwise assume

Please post your license plate so I can track you down and make sure you never post something like this again. If ever there were an argument to keep plates private, this is the poster child :D

The state should get out of all licensing, road ownership, etc. IMO, though, law enforcement should have access to private databases once they demonstrate commensurate cause.

The main reason is that if someone disagrees with their views, they will not be able to find out what State they are from, or be able to pinpoint their car specifically if they want to vandalise it.

Suprised you even asked such a question having owned Ferrari Chat as long as you have?
