Every girl is different but I always notice a change in what used to be normal actions, emotions, feelings towards me. You know what they were like when they were fully in love with you. When they stop loving you they will stop doing certain things.

When a girl shuts down and stops loving you its pretty much over unless you really bust your ass and get to the bottom of what the issue is.

 

Dont know. Has never happened to me

 

Youll get a GF one day, just stay positive. There really is someone for everyone trust me.

 

If you bust your a$$ she will see you can put the effort into
When she sees you can put the effort into she will assume you are capable of more
When she assumes you are capable of more she will push it to find the limit
When she finds out your limit you feel the need to return the favor
When you return the favor she reminds you of the things you really love by destroying them.
Don't let her destroy the things you love. Get dish and a new girlfriend, it is much easier then putting effort in and and much more rewarding.

 

She will stop complaining.

 

She takes renewed interest in waxing her crossbow and sharpening the bolt tips.

You can usually tell it's coming when they start beyotch'n about things they used to let slide. They need to start building a case for cutting it off. Either that or if she's MIA and banging someone else.

 

Her husband comes home.

Most of these make sense. Reason I asked is I am pretty sure my GF is about to break up with me. She called and is in town today and had the "lets talk" comment. So I figure this is her tri-annual "you're never going to marry me and I am so mad about it" talk.

 

It's the o'l shlt or get off the pot conversation or as I call it, "grinding". Try to preempt it by saying, "if we're going to talk about ______ again I'd rather stay at home and poke sharp sticks in my eyes." Anyway use humor or try to side step the grinding conversations all together. Sometimes you just have to cut them loose as it only gets worse and more frequent. You could always claim to agree to things at some future date like 5 years down the road and see if she'll go for that? When this starts happening you're fooked unless you cave and then you're doubly fooked.

One day/week she is talking about having your children and the day/next week she is too busy to go have dinner as she needs to 'wash her hair'.

 

I just had that one a few months ago. Thing is I was going to marry her but just not at the moment because of some huge changes of direction in my life over the last half year. I really just needed things to smooth out before I could work on that. Oh well. Stung a bit but life goes on.

and to think i waited and got married at 40, lots of chances for that to happen, just too lovable i guess. ~

 

Yea this is my issue too. I went from full time super hero to very domestic a little over a year ago which was a big change for me too. I like the idea of getting married but being guilted or forced into it just rubs me the wrong way.

And as was also said, there was a massive shift in behavior which scares the crap out of me esp when I think about a long term (like rest of my life) relationship.
