All right, all you year-round warm-weather Sallies. The weather here shot up into the fifties (above zero, not below), and, well, you know the rest of the story. I'm sure you recognize the background. Only a few more weeks...

Yup! We live a couple blocks away. They're doing field repairs right now, and I'm dying to ask if I can get my car on the warning track to take a picture. That would be too much!

Yes that brings back memories of riding my Harley down Clark st. and going downtown. Glad to hear it got a little warmer. I was there a few weeks ago and it was very cold.

Cool shot Jack! You know where we're going with this one, don't you? Just tell me the month.

BTW: What is the warning track?

Andreas, the warning track is the gravel strip in front of the outfield wall. It warns outfielders that they're approaching the wall.

Ryan, does that mean it's the year of Yankees behind bars?

It's very possible. I drive it as much as possible. I'm not sure how close of a look you got, but if it had golden retriever hair on the dash and dog slobber down the passenger side, then it was definitely mine.
