See you guys on Saturday. I'll be working the new car and CPO display. Sometimes you just gotta take a day off to go to work....
If I thought all that stuff would fit in my Ftruck, I would bring it.... Though it is a great tailgating vehicle, I don't believe that is what will be going on.
I can figure out everything but the canopy. Its about 5 feet long and has NO chance of being transported by a Ferrari. Even strapped to the passenger seat it sticks out the roof. I guess we'll just have to go without shade. My list is: the Grill some Kingsford Spatula/tongs My cooler Oh...and me.
I am still up in the air if i am going but I have a popup canopy that fits in the lotus as long as i take the foot rest out. It is 10'X10' when opened and definitely over 6 feet high as i fit under it. If I do go I may have a passenger so if anyone wants to stop by my place which is only 4 miles from the driving range. More then welcome to use it. I am sure it will fit in any Ferrari. I will measure its collapsed height later.
Ordered my tickets today and will have them tomorrow. I ordered the entry pass and corral tickets and had them overnighted for $25. I was going to buy at gate, but then you have to pull off to the side and go up to the "will call" office to get the corral tickets. You can get entry pass at gate but can only get the corral pass at the "will call" office. I did not want to be bothered doing that so just paid the $25 to overnight. If you order tickets early tomorrow AM they can overnight them and you will have them on Friday.
looking like great weather! I'm in with one co-pilot, I'll fit what I can in the frunk. Cooler with some burgers and dogs, other food...Ferrari flags, Luigi wig...tow hook because well, it is a Ferrari Ear plugs for whoever wants them...and of course a Canon with a long zoom lens
I can understand not wanting to go to the "will call" office. Last year they were very condescendingly informing me that I had to actually be driving a Ferrari in order to go into the corral, then didn't believe me when I said I did. I guess 27 year olds aren't supposed to drive Ferraris? Anyway, why spend $25 to have them overnighted to you when you could simply print them out? Is there a difference in the tickets? You still get to skip the "will call" nonsense. -Olin
I just printed one three hours ago. They sent me an e-mail that had a link to print the ticket and I did that from work. Best of all, I don't have do deal with that "will call" prick this year. -Olin
I just went to take a look at purchasing tickets and saw this for the coral "Car Corral tickets are NOT sold on the day of the event only by ADVANCE PURCHASE."
I just reviewed the thread for the FChat corral and confirmed....Corral tix NOT AVAILABLE on the day of the event. Thankfully I have mine.
You can still buy them online and print them too. I just need to know if i will be able to park in the corral?
I don't see why not. Its not a Ferrari corral...Its an FChat corral. Remember the code FERRARI2012 when purchasing them.
DAMNIT!!! I knew I should've read more into this... Oh well, it was still only $19.50 and I've got my corral tickets. -Olin
You guys are all smarter than me. I paid full price for everything AND paid to overnight the tickets. I had no idea you could just print everything out. DOA!!! On the bright side, I got a new cooler with wheels today that fits perfectly in the front of the 360. At least I got that on sale.
Yea...me too. Lets see 348 Testarossa Exige GTI 430 Spider 348 SS 360 355 Charles will meet us there IIRC Who am I missing? Whoa...Check it out...Not a single red.
I'm in. See you guys in Farmington. BTW: Joe M: The Eastwood fender rolling tool is on it's way........
