I have a number of Weber carbutetors for sale. Most are complete. I'm getting mixed information regarding which Maserati's they might fit. Would I be correct in assuming a 7/9/11 or 14 after the DCNF would applie to the Ghibli and 77-95 would be the Quattropporte? The following is what I have.

    42 DCNF 87 OC
    42 DCNF 95 OK
    44 DCFN 77 9L
    42 DCNF 14
    44 DCNF 94/1 OF
    42 DCNF 87 OG
    42 DCNF 14 1L
    44 DCNF 94 OG
    44 DCNF 77 8M

    Regards,

    Hello 4CamV8,

What are exactly the differences between the 4 different types of 44 DCNFs?

You can PM me or post the prices 4 the 44s.

    Thanks.

    Ciao,
    George

Where and how did you acquire these? How about posting a carefully posed photo of each. That might give us a hint to start with. I did not know there were so many varieties of these.

Interesting. At first I thought the last few digits designated their position on the engine in the pack, but I can't see any sequence. I have no reference literature for Webers, but now I've seen this I would like to know.

    Hi Julian,

I have the Grose Jets on my Webers. They are wonderful! When adjusting the lower float level, you don't ever have to worry about a needle falling out of the seat. :) That's just for starters!

    Ciao,

So, what are the differences for example between the 42 DCNF 11 that are supposed to fit the Ghibli SS according to the Owner's Manual, and the 42 DCNF 14 that fit my car ?

Just a guess, but I think the bodies are the same, but the numbers denominate the specification, as in accel pump ramp used, banjo-intake or pipe intake etc.
Some may have vac take-offs drilled where others have them open, there are so many variables.

    Best,

    Jack.

I would guess it's just jetting all replaceable parts that allow you to convert it to the set up you need Pierce manifold in Morgan Hill CA is a good source for rebuilds and info.

I dig out this old post cause we never got any complete answer...

What are the differences for example between the 42 DCNF 11 that are supposed to fit the Ghibli SS according to the Owner's Manual, and the 42 DCNF 14 that fit my car, or the Boras ?
