A frickin' EB110 right here in Houston. BBS, do you know if the owner drives it ever? Do you know him....how were you able to take pics?
That is indeed the one-and-only Ex-Steve McQueen Hurst Baja Boot, and I believe these images are from a few years ago before a lot of this collection was sold.
I assure you Grand Prix White is quite different in person - it really jumps out at you and is quite striking to see a shape we are used to seeing in silver, appear in Grand Prix White. I think Porsches look amazing in white, aside from the heritage connection. For example: the original (old-school & simple) Porsche Supercar ('76 3.0 930 Turbo Carrera) also looks good in Grand Prix White! Even if I am obviously biased. Imagine this next to a white CGT? I feel a road trip coming on... you never fail to represent a car so well through your photos! great shots joe!! and i agree...gp white on a 930 is something to behold!!! pcb
Completely agree, a friend has a 964 in white and I absolutely love it. Having never seen a CGT in white it's hard to judge how it looks in certain light in the photos.
My understanding is that the Bug is street legal and is driven occasionally. He has so many cars that getting around to driving them all is a challenge. A good friend of mine is his God-son, who got me access to the collection. Sorry, no idea.
A 930 in white with it's black accents across it's body is just stunning! My favorite color for the 930...
I'll agree white cgt is stunning but I just don't get the premium. You could repaint for less. Oh sure, its original and all that, but meh, its a porsche.
Yes I have, and as stunning as the photos are, the car looks even better in person. The details on this particular car are quite outstanding.
And a 959 in white doesn't look half bad either. As with the CGT, white 959s are pretty rare. (Images courtesy of Google.) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A friend of mine owns a white CGT in my hometown (Sarasota, FL). I was with the car last week actually. It's got black interior, yellow seat belts, yellow calipers, and the wheels have the white paint on the inners of the spokes. CGT #1040
