    No...you cannot make it yourself!!! It is "Taylor Pork Roll" and any other is a fraud by definition!!! Besides, you need, 3 eggs, hash browns & 4 pieces of TPR for a complete breakfast. Anything else is just...a substitute for bacon!!! :)

    whoa, a double-double!

    Last week I plowed through 1.5lbs of extra thick cut baloney, fried up on sandwiches for lunch on 4 days while I was in the home office. Mighty tasty, but nowhere near as much as PR....
    Have to defrost one of the two 3lb rolls in the freezer when I get home.

    Our PR stocks were replenished thanks to dear old Dad over the xmas holidays.

    This thread is a bad influence. It was the cause of my hurting my diet by getting a porkroll, egg and cheese (with salt, pepper, and a little onion, lettuce and tomato). Because I'm in Jersey, no though or effort was involved in satisfying my craving.

    Yes, the outdoors really gets a man's taste buds hankering for some PR.

    jeez it's been a while anyone's showed off a nice pork roll meal!

    I was up in Trenton this week and of course hit up a diner (Rt. 1 Diner) for a PRE&C.
    Was a little thick for me but easily fixed by taking one egg and one slice of PR off to be gobbled up separately.

    Also stopped by Delorenzo's new location for awesome Tomato Pie.

    Still have a 3lb roll of Trenton's finest in the freezer, have to take her out soon...
