Yes it is. Aluminum cannot be bent straight. It has to be replaced. Well, it isn't difficult to repair, just really expensive. Because the aluminum rails are bent - you can see the bent passenger side bent in the photo, my guess is that this is a $60k to a $100k repair.

How do I know all this? I wiped my 360 Challenge front end on the passenger side out at Watkins Glen. Very similar damage as this car. That was an $80k repair bill and my damage did NOT include the bent rail - as seen on this Scuderia.

A friend sent me this White wrecked Scuderia info a few weeks ago. Just by looking at the pictures and gathering needed parts plus a quote from an Audi repair shop, the repair bill was be in the $60k range, doing it on my own, a shop would charge 50% more to do the entire repair, while I would just outsource chassis repairs, body panels and painting, and taking care of all the mechanical fixes.

Massively overpriced, I would not pay more than $40k which is the offer I sent, because hidden damages might increase the repair costs, and the car with the type of history will always take a hit on resale, at least 30% from market value for a pristine car.

At the current asking, and sending it to a shop, it would cost more than the same car with a pristine history and ready to run.
