Based on the suggested definitions - at least here in the LaLa land that is Boca - a Honda Civic is more exotic than a Ferrari. I see 5-6 Ferraris a day (double that if I have lunch at the club (in season)). I hardly ever notice a Civic.

So, this begs the more important question. Is my fairly nice 1981 380SL exotic enough for the event this weekend (Fred?) or do I need to find someone with an empty seat in their car so that I can join in the festivities at the Stadium?

    So funny.... and true.
Not a day goes bye without seeing a few Ferraris & Lambos in Boca. Last Saturday night there were (FIVE) Ferraris park in front of IPic Theater at Mizner Park, and not one Civic! lol

Living in Hobe Sound, we do see some exotic cars mostly from Jupiter Island when they venture out. Where I live, just across the bridge with all the rest of the poor folk, we rarely see a Ferrari or anything exotic. In this part of Florida, my old 1984 928S, (which I've had since new), gets stared at, which is actually a fun thing. My F car gets a lot of looks.

The Pontiac Aztek is even more exotic: only 17 sold in its last year of production:)

Hate to say it but the weather report is not looking good for Saturday. It may be a day for non-exotics.................but wait, are there any non-exotics left?

Can we just bring insurance cards or registration to prove that we own a Ferrari (or Honda Fit or whatever is exotic these days)? If its raining no one will bring their cars I suspect.

I hope a little rain doesn't keep the cars away. They are made of metal and not sugar you know. ;)

Seriously, what would Enzo say if you told him you didn't take your car out in the rain? I think he would mutter an Italian expletive and give you the back of his hand but I could be wrong. Better play it safe and come rain or shine.

    Step 1.... install a plug.
    Step 2.... pull the plug.
Step 3.... watch the water drain quickly.
Step 4.... drink a beer, and realize what a fun time you had participating.

This doesn't sound so good when you realize I was talking about my shorts!!!

BUT, I also do not have windshield wipers, and RainX doesn't help when the water comes over the top of the windshield, drops down towards your lap, but half of it decides it is going to exit the car in an upwards fashion (leaving a nice puddle in your lap for everyone to laugh at), but instead of leaving the car, it gets caught on the back side of your glasses. This creates a double watersoaked glass barrier to visible light.....

I also have no desire to find out just how waterproof dynamat is...
