This is one of my favorite threads of all time. Its amazing these people think they can come onto a forum filled with extremely smart, successful and wealthy people and pull the wool over their eyes. They must come from a sheltered background where they are the big fish in a little pond. Do they not realize we have literal billionaires here...literally some of the most respected people in the financial world. Silly kids...

All these news articles are basically self released stuff anyone can put up saying anything. 2 grains of salt whenever reading them.
I don't know the guy, but he's making himself look pretty bad. I try to reserve judgment for in-person contact with people from the forum, though exceptions have been made. People that have met him seem to like him...who knows? He may be an OK guy. I also didn't go through that entire thread, though it does sound like there is some embellishing going on, but then again, don't all investors do that? Always remember to ACT AS IF...R.I.P., Gentry. No one who posts such vitriol is an OK guy. He may fake it convincingly...but his true colors came out. He is most certainly not an 'OK guy'.
Ya know, I have MANY people who would've been game so I was interested in his services/experience. He could've had great new customers. I had NO IDEA the discussion would turn into such a huge cluster!! Imagine if Madoff had done his recruiting on a message board lol! Safety in numbers. Don't think he's gonna make the effort to prove his claims - so I think the official status is, he can't.
I have gone to many cruise nights with Reza and i think you guys just might have gotten it all wrong . He told you what he did , honestly or not doesnt matter now, you lunged on him, pissed him off he got defensive now he says f u to fchat. That said how can one conclude he is NOT an OK guy ? You never even met him and you dont know if he is sitting at home now splitting a gut reading all this now . What IS for certain is his massive success matched only by his confidence and as eluded to earier , why bring all this attn to ones self if you were doing something illegal or even ethically wrong. Also I know his background and if his family ever knew he was doing anything wrong he most likely would not have seen 29.
