I have used Leatherique in the past and have been happy with the results.

My question is what does it do to colored thread, such as red stitching? I can't help but to believe that it would take out some of the dye from the thread. Any other suggestions?

FWIW, I called the company and they said that the Leatherique will not change the color nor weaken it in anyway.

I've used Leatherique Rejuvinator and Prestine Clean on my black leather/red stitching 430 interior with no change in color at all in the threads ... just nicer leather.

Are we talking about the oils? Or the dyes?

I've used Leatherique on black/grey leather with both cream and yellow stiching (different cars) without issue.

I've applied the RO / PC system to many cars with colored stitching...no issues whatsoever!
