Stopped by around 12.30-2, lots of cars out, nice day. I was hoping for some Dino's this year as I've not seen any the previous 10 years (although I missed the re-scheduled event last year). I saw 2 FIAT Dino spyders (white+silver), which were great. A judge I spoke to said he thought one was there earlier, anyone see it? Andrew
Great turnout, particularly the post Enzo cars and a huge number of enthusuastic spectators. The parking situation left a bit to be desired though. With satellite parking you need more than one small shuttle.
There were four 330 models representing the lineage, which was nice to see. (but not all together...)
Who else lost 10 lbs in sweat today? Paul, Jay, Steve and the gang good to see you guys and hopefully I'll see you on the 19th. I got the best stop light comment on the way home. "jeeeeesus Christ, nice car boys". Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great to see everyone... When did Boston turn into Dallas weather-wise. First time I ever wanted to get into the 355 just for the air conditioning!

I didn't see any Dinos this time, but you must have missed them at past events. I've seen a yellow one, red one, a darl blue one, and a marrone one at past Tuttos. These photos were taken at Tutto in 2008. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks to everyone who brought out their cars. Quite something that there were more Ferraris than any other marque.
I was there with my 328. They parked me at the top of the stairs where the pergola ended. When spectators walked up they saw a sea of red Ferraris and said... WOW ! Died and gone to heaven. The down side, at least to those (spectators) who claim to know... The shields are incorrect, as is the body colored painted roof, blacked out front air extractor and the all important Tubi exhaust add on. Since I was not wearing anything Ferrari they did not know it was one of mine. I did get some laughs when "experts" were pointing out the above. Ya gotta love it...
Yes, Steve I was on the other side of those stairs and the comments were too funny. Almost as clueless as the judges (Not that I even bothered). We did have a sweet spot for shade though. It was great to see all the cars and I'll take hot over rain any day. We got little shower around 2:30 that caused us to pack it in. I didn't want to get stuck in the grass on that down slope near the wall.
Yes, It was very shady there. Unfortunately the Mondial cabriolet around the corner from us would light off his engine a few times to let spectators hear his exhaust at red line. My friend who was with me commented that the fuel and exhaust smell was "interesting" A womans comment is always welcome. She asked me if that was necessary to which I replied... of course. I watched the 3 judges on one car and they seemed to just be going thru the motions so to speak. Im sure they were hot and after awhile it gets old. Still I had a very nice time there. I am part of the group that hosts Corvette day in June. Best we were able to assemble was 125 or so vettes. They seem to be more weather orientated then the Italian car group. " If there is a cloud in Montana " Im not taking the vette out.
Why do I feel the need to make it clear that it was not me that was randomly starting my Mondial and immediately redlining it - for whatever reason...... I was parked thankfully, at the other end of the grass section comfortably under a tree near the entrance ramp. It was great to see all of the wonderful cars and fellow Ferrari enthusiasts. - Ron Frohock
I hope his oil was warmed up. I noticed he did spend the time to have all his horse emblems on his wheels positioned all in the same direction.
Just read this to my wife and we burst out laughing. As a former owner of three Corvettes attending many shows, it constantly cracked us up how paranoid they all were about a little rain. I even got yelled at by one owner for starting my car (on a grass field) because it might kick up dust. That being said I also found them to be the friendliest, most outgoing and helpful of all car guy groups. This is of course a general statement and no offense should be taken to the fine gentlemen on here.
I call them the "Montana mind set corvette club" As the judging chairman for the New England region of NCRS I see alot of this. Our meets do not have rain dates on the regional or national level and the local chapters are free to schedule around weather. As I see it the Ferrari group is more willing to drive in the rain and I have great respect for that. Use them while you have them... As a side note. I have 3 vettes and I drive them all and tes, they have been in the rain too.
Photo that a friend took of my 550 at a cars and coffee gathering. I drive one of the Fcars to work almost every day - as long as no hail or snow is predicted. - Ed - Image Unavailable, Please Login
