#6357 #6090 #6543 The last one is a real mystery car. Any additional pictures for this car? Is this a white or a silver car, interior looks red. Remarkable detail is the sticker on the left side close to the registration plate
My family and I visited the museum last week and took a few pics of the Islero to share. Tom Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I love these period pictures! Because of the yellow headlights this is probably an original French car. To my knowledge #6453 was the only silver GTS delivered to France, interior looks tobacco which also matches with #6453 in its original livery. Later #6453 was repainted red with a black interior and offered at some French auctions in the late eighties, early nineties. The car still had the same black mirror as this one. Im pretty sure its the same car. Anyone who knows where #6453 is today? Last trace Ive is in 2001 in France.
Hello Everyone, after more than 12 months of extensive search I am the proud owner of Islero #6072. To my best knowledge this is the 24th Islero ever built, now situated in good old Germany. This Islero GT has presently a total mileage of only 44.260 Kms. I have collected some information about its history (if you are interested). Please find enclosed some pictures. The Islero has just received an additional service, is matching number and seems to be very original. The seats still have the pig skin and look like new. All the electrical equipment is full functional. I am really looking forward to enjoy this beauty. I have another issue. Does anyone has a "Datenblatt", a Data Sheet or a "Scheda di Omologazione" for an Islero GT? Thank you for your help. Wow! Please post some more pictures! Also from the interior and the motor! What are your first driving impressions? When I drove mine for the first time, I was impressed by its ease of use and by the fact it felt almsot nimble. It didn't feel intimidating like a Maserati Ghibli for instance. I've got a factory build sheet for mine but I don't know if it is what you are looking for.
@em42: I dont know what exactly you are looking for, so I have just chosen some more pics. The driving experience is fantastic - very dynamic and fast responding. Nevertheless you can cruise this lady. I love it. Here in Germany the car is so unknown, that I need a data sheet to get a licence plate. Maybe someone can help me out? Thanks a lot for sharing those pictures. It looks like a very very nice example! I can scan you my swiss "Fahrzeugausweis" if you'd like, but I don't know if it can fit your needs. Let me know by PM.
There were 5 factory right hand drive cars: The plan was 2 to England (6432, 6435) and 3 to Australia (6189, 6441 arrived new, 6138 much later) but I think it turned out the other way around. John
Congratulations for your nice example. If you are not to far from Belgium you are welcome to come and ride with us on our last 2012 ride the 21st October.
Oliver, thanks for the invitation. I would love to come, but I will participate this year with the Carrera Panamericana (not with the Lambo but with a Porsche *g*), so I am going to stay in Mexico from the 15th until the End of October. So maybe next time? Cheers, Frank
