sorry, but what causes this. turn a/c on. blows nice and cold for a varying period of time. then it starts to blow warm air. turn a/c off for a few minutes then turn back on and it blows cold again. thoughts?
Insulation has come unwrapped from expansion valve (TVX) and is allowing it to freeze up. Or the a/c condenser fan isn't working. You don't say what car you have.
OK, so whats wrong with another ac thread? LOL Good luck, Man. Right now, I cant help much more- above advise is good. . lets see what develops......
You might start at the biginning as you will be working on this . Could be ecu or blower ecu. guessing is easy... can I get paid now like a Politician does...lol forza motor cars
that's what i'm thinking as the car, my volvo, has myriad electrical issues. i'm going to put the guages on saturday and check the freon level.
It does sound like an iced evaporator issue. If it's a 3x8, it could be the thermostat capillary tube sprung a leak, and it's not unclutching the compressor when the evaporator drops below 32F.
