These are the nicest wheels on a TR I've ever seen! They make the car look more modern!

thats the point - should a Testarossa look "more modern" or wouldnt it look much better original?
the car is on the way to become an icon - so please preserve the last original cars.
if you prefer a "modern" look, go for a 458.

    Let's do the sums.

Remove old wheels and tyres that are in original and beautiful condition but it's getting hard to secure tyres these days. Pack em and rack em in the garage where the rubber will be preserved as best you can do.

    Cost........bugger all.

Option 1. Purchase new style of wheels to your liking and fit modern, low profile and easy to get tyres. Cost circa $5-8k all up. Better braking and better handling come with this option!

Option 2. Store your old and original Testarossa till it becomes a collectible icon, and go out and spend circa $650 000 (Ozzie prices) on a new 458 so you have a modern looking car.

Hmmmmmmm........not a big call for me to make.

Hence I'd really like to know what wheels are on that lovely looking car.

preserving cars does not mean storing them.
drive your Testarossa as it was meant to be driven but do not try to modify it for a modern look. (wheels, painting of lower parts ...) be proud of your true 8ies icon.
availability of tyres may be a problem.

Thanks for the comments everyone. This is my 4th Testarossa and I have to admit, when I saw this one, I had to have it. Everything about it is exactly how I would have done it all the way down to the interior. I love originality, don't get me wrong, but if you can make one even more beautiful, I am all for it, and this is a perfect example.
I have gotten nothing but compliments on this car since day one, the wheels are 18" magnesium Speedlines, not sure on the offset, here is a pic. Notice the upgraded calipers also.

They are speedline 1908 series wheels.

Thought I had seen them before. Saleen used them on a Mustang in the late 90's.

Hard to find a decent link for Speedline. I certainly can't find a current supplier.

Apparently made to fit 348 and 355.

    Fronts 8.5x18 offset 36
    235-40-zr18

    Rears 10x18 offset 55
    275-35-ZR18

Would be tricky to fit to a Testa but where there is a will there is a way.

These were taken a while ago.

Snowmobiles are out. Already quite a bit pf snow. Rivers and lakes frozen enough for riding on them.
