Peter, as you know, I do not waste my time with websites that are not worth the space they occupy. Best,
Thank you for understanding Peter. Let be very, very, very careful. You would not want to be in the uncomfortable position of hoping & praying you can dodge a bullet. I can tell you there are some who do not take public commentary lightly, and have successfully filed libel claims for nothing other than to prove the point. We all have a responsibility towards the content we post. Lets keep it real.
I suggest a permanent solution, a simple & fair-enough proposal - mainly to the benefit of the entire Lamborghini community and anyone who reads these threads: I recommend you stay off threads started & regularly posted in by me. There are plenty of other threads for you to go to and brag & boast on. Spare us your illiterate nonsense. Take a hint if you can: your presence here is clearly not wanted, and I say that as a result of posts made, PMs & e-mails sent, and phone calls received. Full disclosure: So far as you come on any thread started by me, I will be on your tail, so you do so at your own discretion. Furthermore, I am advising you publicly that you would serve yourself well to avoid me under any & all circumstances, both on the forums & in business. This community is big & diverse enough for our paths to have no need whatsoever to cross. Please refrain from mentioning my name or discussing me at any venue. You do so at your own peril. A word to the wise is always enough. Lets get things clear: I could care less if you had any mutual respect for me or otherwise, past or present. I am secure enough in my conduct that I do not seek your approval nor exist on the basis of a popularity contest. I am a man of principle and I conduct my self fairly& honestly to fulfill my own values. Family then business are my priorities. Along the way if I can be of benefit to others, that is great. You have no clue what I do for the community on a private basis. Just like my cars, I don't feel the need to boast or brag about it. That's the difference between us. By the way, if you truly had any "mutual respect", somebody needs to school you on how to observe same. The last thing your previous behavior has shown is mutual respect. Don't insult anyone's intelligence. For my part, I freely admit there is none. At least I'm honest. Perhaps I know things I shouldn't, but, the bottom line is the things a person says are a window into their mind & soul, and those statements show who they truly are. I have recorded lots of things you have said, and I have made my conclusion a long time ago. I routinely ask people not to compare me with you under any circumstances. Lets just put it down to personal differences, or whatever. Meanwhile, next time you see me, please come up to me in person and call me SOS instead of hiding behind a keyboard like the coward you are. I would kick your pot-bellied ass into next month.
Yes definitely a DD, look at the two black slats on the bonnet.. a slimmer longer one on the bottom and a thicker shorter one on the top. Awesome color combo and a DD to boot, someone is very lucky. I did find a link to the pictures posted saying it belonged to an Arab Shiek. There seem to be a few blue Saudi cars, here is another. ---wont let me link, sorry I too would like the find the CT from my childhood.. but mine is red/tan so much harder to figure out if correct or not.. not to mention all the color changes these seem to go through.
Taken by me at Syon Park, UK. There are 4 RHD SVs in the top of the pic (the yellow car in the middle is an S). The Blu Acapulco Countach in the foreground is LP500S 12554. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The only pic I took of the Arancio Annivesario. 22 years later, the young man looking onto the car might be dreaming of owning one soon. I don't think he noticed the Miuras... Image Unavailable, Please Login
This one I must have taken from the back of Hangar Straight grandstand? Too long ago to remember, but, there are 10 Countachs in that pic. The black LP500S with red interior is 12515. The first Countach I ever owned! Image Unavailable, Please Login
... and the boy that you mentioned in your previous post in this is directly heading for your first nero/rosso Countach without looking at the Miuras, indeed...
Well I guess you did not take the advise of several here a few posts back asking us to leave it alone and talk about Countach..I thought it correct......so I will respond to you here in Public for the last time.. Your post above is EXACTLY what I could write to you...it is not a who is the "Popular kid" in school thread..I as you have multiple "like's" her as well as "Dis-likes"...I really dont know who gets more phone calls or PM or e-mails...as you don't really care...I also ask others not to ask me to comment on you or your methods...as far as you being Honest/ man of principles...that is of course your opinion nad there are many that would not paint you in the light as well as I am sure there are those that would say the same for me... I too have a "book" of things you have said, done whatever you want to call it...and as I dont know about your private things, neither do you know what I give back to my local cummunity here in the PNW..maybe we can post each others tax returns for the last 10 years showing the multiple charity donations you and I have made... As far as seeing you in person and not a keyboard cowboy...you have seen me many times, the last time we saw each other was in South Cali, you were with your son, I said Hi Joe and you responded Roy, with a pleasent smile...more then good with me...and you had multiple times to approach me just last week in Monterey...welcome to meet me at the up-coming Lamborghini San Diego meet in October.. SOS..take it for what you want Joe..as others have pointed out..not my "Coining" of you..so just goes to show, at least others have the same view of you that I have...as there will always be supporters on both sides of the fence..I am a little shocked that you of ALL people, while schooling others here not to "jump" to conclusions etc etc etc take the SOS as a bad thing...do you KNOW for sure what it means...to mean it means "Save our Souls"....maybe it means something else to you... Last but not least...I am not a violent person...so I am sorry I cant "make your Day" by confronting you and having a school boy brawl....I guess that statment from you shows me a good look into WHO you can be...a threating violent person resolved to bully and violence inflicting person....
unlike most CT's, i recall that odd looking car was tracked often at the clubs event and actually raced. its a pretty famous example in jp on numerous magazines.
Eventhough I have had a couple of close encounters with Countaches in my life. My dad owned one in 88 and I had an anniversary edition pass through my hands a few years ago. It's that blue one that I have always wanted. I guess I can say it's the first Countach that I remember seeing in the flesh and it started my love affair with the car that all of us posting on this thread loves. I will keep looking for it and hopefully will find it one day. There cannot be that many Saudi spec 82/83 model Countaches in light blue with white interior ever made.
So you think the car in the picture could be an 82 or 83 model? Someone mentioned that it's an actual QV and if it is then it cannot be the same car.
May be I am old fashion about the definition of a nice guy, but if true anyone who pulls a knife on someone else and go for the jugular, not in clear self defense from another weapon can't be a nice guy and I would add probably highly unstable... Something wrong there..Lambo or not..
I don't know. Looks like a genuine QV to me. Some of them were built in 1985. Could it have been 1985 that you saw the car in London?
Definitely not 85. It was 1983 with a very minute possibility of early 84. The car was regularly parked in South Kensington near the Lycee Francais (French School). You probably know where that is. It is possible that the car was not an 83 model and could have been older. I was too young to know the difference back then between an 83 model or an older car but it definitely had the wider arches so was not an lp400.
