Nice read. I was going to search for a chart with the speed through the gears. This helps. Thanks for the info.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...................

These articles wrap their arms around me and assure me that I have made the right decision....these words make me feel that I truly do own one of the most amazing cars, a milestone, that is timeless and makes me smile whenever I walk to it, especially when I drive it, when I walk away from it.....and everytime I think of it.......it's the "other woman" in my life!

Simply said, I love this car..............

    Smiling Me

Kerry - this is exactly how my car makes me feel too !!!
The testarossa is an epic car-it thrills on so many levels :)

Once again Jeremy - thank you for posting these superb articles

I will post up some pictures of my red beast as I am having drilled pedals fitted and a new momo suede wheel too ( as I find the std wheel rim too thin and the diameter too large) it is going on my wall as ART !!
New footwell mats too as she is no garage queen ;-)
New fuel regulators are being fitted by my good friend John Greatorex-a master ferrari technician, who has recently opened his new business in England, servicing the performance car marketplace.
The trust of a great technician really makes all the difference in the ownership pleasure of these amazing vehicles.

Ps John sourced the regulators from California !

Pps I am also looking into a power steering option from EZ power steering - a Dutch firm, it is speed sensitive and looks very impressive. I came across this after hearing of a Countach owner who has had it fitted and is delighted with the results.

I wrote a lot in this thread about it ... and I had the first prototype for the 512TR (= Testarossa 90-92).

Also read what Jim writes about it as he fitted the system himself; it was not easy but he is a happy driver now ! ;)

Still think this was my best upgrade of the car !

Find it and read it, mail me ([email protected]) if you have questions !

    Hi Mel
I have Just read both these threads and I am ore keen than ever to get this installed !!
I love the steering feel and weight at speed-but I do not like the 25-40 mph tight bends which require a lot of steering input and effort and detract from the driving experience.
I am calling mike waters tomorrow -the uk distributor for ez psteering :)
I will post up my findings

Thank you Mel for posting and pioneering the way forward !!
