The exhaust valves on a 991 with PSE do open when the PSE is activated. I have PSE on my 991S and find it plenty loud...especially for a DD. And after listening to the video, I can't hear much of a difference and certainly not enough to justify what Tubi charges for its exhaust systems. I have a Bell on my BB512i for that very reason.

the tubis are louder, whether the valves are open or closed (i have an s-cab)
this is best appreciated when you are positioned outside the vehicle, in the rear.
when driving the car at slow speed, the exhaust sound seems surprisingly similar (tubi compared to the sport exhaust) before the valves open.
but when the valves open upon hard acceleration.........all i can say is WOW!
the sound from the tubi beats the sport exhaust, hands down.

Why would one buy an expensive after-market exhaust that sounds best when the owner is out of the vehicle?

the tubi sounds fantastic, both inside and outside the vehicle.
it is simply louder when heard from behind the vehicle, as one might expect.
