Hi I Just replaced the clutch on my 355 F1, having bled the system went through the PIS, IO self calibration and Octopus, (had three attempts at the Octopus eventually car initiated the sequence of r,1,4,5 and one beep to indicate it had worked correctly, switched off before roadtesting, on switching on again it now beeps 4 times and F1 warning light is on. Can anybody help, will switching off the battery remove the light, to enable me to retry the three steps above?
Double check the obvious things, Fluid level rear deck lid closed, switch activated gear engagement with ignition only as Eddie stated.
Hi Gents, thanks for your replies, when I switch the ignition on I get four beeps and the gearbox warning light fixed on. Have just checked your suggestions, fluid level ok, engine lid closed ok, pump runs and it changes gear with just the ignition on.
Might want to try the sequence again. 4 beeps means it found some "stickiness" From the WSM: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I Have run the sequence twice now getting one beep for everything ok, it is when I switch the ignition on that I get the four beeps and a permenant warning light on !!
Have just started car and it is changing gear when stationary but still have gearbox warning light on? have just isolated battery and will check in morning if this causes the warning light to go out.
